    Thank you. You are kind to jump in here. I assume it will be mostly snow, and I hope some combination of moderate band and good snow growth gets me north of 2" Seems possible.

    Ah. front fields mostly melted out because they get good sun all day. back fields 1-3 inches. Woods 3-5 inches. A fresh snowpack means the twins can go into the jet sled and I have 20 less pounds to carry in my backpack lol. Very important!

    wouldn't mind the snowpack refresh. But that would require 2-4.

    This would be a very weird way to get 1-3 tomorrow night: Rain and snow before 3am, then snow likely between 3am and 4am, then a chance of rain after 4am. Low around 31. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

    Actually the snow pack has been good for my leg strength. Walking uphill into the woods with a 20 pound baby in a backpack. If we can keep the snow, I'll just get in better and better shape.

    I imagine it will snow somewhere as we transition from deep cold to a warmer pattern.

    We’ve had a number of very amplified model runs over the last week so I would lean towards a more amplified and result. And this is starting to get the feel of that kind of system. The model show something big then they get confused and lose it for a couple of days and then they start to come back to it.

    So that would mean this would get going on Friday. We’re getting into the medium term here. Interesting to see if the timeline of the 20th and 21st it’s consistent across other models. We were talking to 22nd yesterday I believe.

    exactly Like Dec 2008 2 events in 3 days. Actually 3 events in 5 days up here for a total of 31". It was my 1st winter up here and I thought that was normal lol. Of course we moved in on March 31 with a 2 ft snow pack that was in the process of melting down from what was an almost 4' pack.

    Isn't a 2-3 day event often really 2 events? Like a SWFE and then a coastal?

    33-34 here. Will be interesting to see if we get a temperature spike and how long it lasts. Meanwhile, a whole lot of water soaking into the snow pack.
