    Yesterday it was a hellscape and today there is hope. Lather, rinse, repeat. This season I am going to be zen-like and gently hold the container so that everyone can flop all around and not fall out.

    well certainly not like how some in here are losing it. Could be awesome though to have a snowpack that lasts from Thanksgiving to March.

    Beginning to wonder if we really lose our snow pack. I mean, how long will the period be of warm temperatures and high winds before a cold again. In the woods we have not lost much snow and really not in the fields either. There’s about seven or 8 inches of thick Liquid filled snow in the woods. If we keep half of that and it freezes, it’s going to be here for a while. Temp is like 33.

    It came in here like a wall as Brian said last night and we went from 38° and be worrying about rain to a fresh covering and pounding snow a half an hour later at 30°. Similar over there?

    Lol the sled is great for the kids, but it would be much nicer on powdery snow instead of all this heavy stuff we have. That said I’d give this winter an A so far. 4 snow events in 12 days prior to Dec 10 and a good pack the whole time. we freshet.

    I drive, but I think there are direct flights from New York and I’m not sure about Boston. You can always go to Montreal and take the train.

    Don’t pray, act. Book a trip to Quebec City. There are direct flights and good inexpensive hotels. Your wife will love it. Very romantic!

    Heavy snow now. Even by Brian’s standard. Well it really looks great out there and suddenly. 45 minutes ago was 39°.

    I know many are focused on wind but started as snow here and the radar looks healthy. warm though with temps upper 30s. wunderground increased to 3-5

    I know the conventional wisdom is to go with the worsening look for the 2nd half of the month. I'm not there yet. The long range has shifted alot the past month or two so a warm snowless pattern is not a lock for the rest of December. And some good looks are still there. And mostly things have trended better at least here, as events come closer. Tonight will be my 4th snow event in less than 2 weeks. Will have near a foot most likely in total in 4 events prior to Dec 10. That's pretty good.

    Please explain/expand. that’s a new word, but I think it could mean fresh snow after a reset, so a total melt out there up north?

    Was more out there than I expected. Closer to 3 inches than two. It’s been awesome to introduce the babies to winter. We rigged the jet sled with some seats from the double stroller and the twins love it.

    Wunderground steadily increasing snow for Monday pm. Now to 3.7. GYX 1-2. Would be ironic if the biggest of the 4 events is the one right before the deluge. looking forward to getting to the other side of the warmup. At least some signs we could be back in a decent setup soon. Maybe not MA or some of SNE but CNE and NNE.
