    I know many are focused on wind but started as snow here and the radar looks healthy. warm though with temps upper 30s. wunderground increased to 3-5

    I know the conventional wisdom is to go with the worsening look for the 2nd half of the month. I'm not there yet. The long range has shifted alot the past month or two so a warm snowless pattern is not a lock for the rest of December. And some good looks are still there. And mostly things have trended better at least here, as events come closer. Tonight will be my 4th snow event in less than 2 weeks. Will have near a foot most likely in total in 4 events prior to Dec 10. That's pretty good.

    Please explain/expand. that’s a new word, but I think it could mean fresh snow after a reset, so a total melt out there up north?

    Was more out there than I expected. Closer to 3 inches than two. It’s been awesome to introduce the babies to winter. We rigged the jet sled with some seats from the double stroller and the twins love it.

    Wunderground steadily increasing snow for Monday pm. Now to 3.7. GYX 1-2. Would be ironic if the biggest of the 4 events is the one right before the deluge. looking forward to getting to the other side of the warmup. At least some signs we could be back in a decent setup soon. Maybe not MA or some of SNE but CNE and NNE.

    Hard to complain about the start of the season here. Three small snow events in two weeks. By Tuesday will probably be more more than 10 inches total . It’s going to all melt or a lot of it will, but can’t complain about the start. nice finish here with fluffy moderate snow and 2”

    Looks like one and a half or 2 inches. Light snow continuing. Seems flakes have been very small.

    WPC maps look very damned up with a warm front through southern New England and a low popping off of Cape Cod on Tuesday. My wonder ground forecast has given me 2 1/2 inches of snow on Monday.

    The sense I’m getting is that there’s nothing to extreme coming in the next few weeks. A complicated system with chances of snow and ice and rain from Sunday through Tuesday or Wednesday. A quick cooldown and then a warm-up for a bit. But the cold air source never really goes away. Then some decent signs that it turns colder with a ridge on the West Coast in the last week of the month. It doesn’t sound too bad.

    We often play catch up late in the storms. Have had an inch an inch and a half in the last hour and a half. Perfect snow, growth and fluff just piling up. Probably about 3 1/2 inches now.
