    So far storms have trended better with time, incl tonight. Maybe Dec 12-13 will too.

    Yes but the cold is probably coming east. And look at the cold in Canada. That gets to us.

    Let’s keep it that way. This snow pack has been very resilient in the woods and even some of the fields, though, so it will probably get quite cold if the snow covers stays.

    We are all jaded but this is feeling like a normal December. It is supposed to snow and there are supposed to be cold outbreaks. Innocuous shortwaves coming in the ns from Canada are supposed to beef up as they get closer. Late in cold outbreaks there are supposed to be storms. Then patterns relax for a bit

    Such a nice Thanksgiving. Only 3” but the babies’ 1st snow and we rigged a jet sled to take them for a walk. A special time and I’m grateful.

    One of the wettsnows I’ve had. Very elevation dependent. Maybe 3 inches here at 650 feet but down the road at 400 feet very little. And I think in Concord at 300 feet just rain so far. Very marginal but enough of the piles up could be the start of our snow pack.

    You are piling it up. We are more like 2” here. Definitely good snow growth but not quite heavy. Probably half a mile.
