    If the GFS plasters us with 30" this place is going to go berserk. Not that I wouldn't be happy, but I would be afraid of it moving even further N/W in the coming few days. Meaning that some or all of us end up raining. Let's see that slow transition to victory.

    Honestly I'd be happy if the GFS just puts it a smidge west of 12z - it has continually trended N/W in the few days leading up to the storm with just about every other storm this year. Ideally, at go-time the 30" blob is over most of us.

    Honestly the King GFS has been so good in the long range it’s the only model I’ve been paying attention to for storms 3 or more days out.

    Sometimes I read comments like this and realize I’m not as crazy about snow as some of you lol. My wife and I have never had this conversation and I wouldn’t drive to chase a snowstorm. Still love tracking them. Wish more would just happen over my house because they are fun.

    If I were a betting man I would bet on couple of more NW ticks, but whether that gets at least some of us in the game is a question. May just be mood flakes for me and I’ll be happy with that. Obviously hope for more

    Don’t really love this type of event around here. Usually ends up too warm and most of it melts straight away. High bar is a covered ground I think

    The Reaper retiring has been the best thing for the Mid Atlantic in a long while. It's been some 7-8 years since I remember a winter like this one. He can stay away.

    Let's not forget the GFS's tendency to amplify shortwaves and trend north/west 48 hours before the storm this year. Definitely like what I see right now. Hopefully we will be celebrating come Friday.

    True. I’ll take the Euro any day over the NAM at range. We just need to the King GFS to bow down and cave.

    Really want the GFS to be wrong this time. One could hope.
