Moderate+, 21°, windy with big flakes and it's accumulating again. If it's the last one for the season at least it looks good.

Well, I might have shot that wad a little prematurely it's snowing pretty hard and covered everything again. It's cold and it's windy with driving snow. It's winter! For one more day...

Snowing lightly, small flakes and pretty windy but not really accumulating. Everything is freezing up so get out there now and move anything you don't want to fight with tomorrow.

I'm so stoked! I got another 2.5" and that got me almost to 50% of normal

2" of white rain. Sure it accumulated but it's melting from underneath and the roads are already clear. It's pretty now but there's a lot of weight on budding branches that will freeze soon. When that wind comes up it's gonna get interesting.

Yup the flip just happened. Went from rain to driving sleet to wind driven big flakes in the space of 5 minutes. Temp is still well above freezing but ought to get down there pretty quickly now.

40° with heavy rain but it's dropping quickly and the blues are nearly here on the radar.

Because I was never able to measure over 2" at any point during the day. I shoveled 1.4 and 1.5 from the same spot so maybe it would have been over 3 with the final .5 I got but I didn't get to measure it that way. There were surfaces that had 4" and those were really representative of what actually fell but wouldn't qualify so I know what happened but don't claim it. It was a gorgeous drive up to Cortland NY this morning. Some of the high spots along 17 and 81 were sparkly and the low spots were eerie with freezing fog.

Heh, it started snowing pretty hard again with big flakes and put down a quick .5 and now with it getting dark and still snowing maybe I get another half, that would be nice.

I dunno, I'd rather get more good quality snow than 2 or 3" of slush. ...and that's what I got today, 2-3" of mush. It's more like 4" on certain surfaces. 2" max on the driveway away from the house because it's melting from underneath. 2" puts me at 21" for the season!

Overperformer? Sort of. In shady areas that haven't really warmed up despite temps in the 60s have well over 1" but everything else is .5 or so. Some hard exposed surfaces are over 1 too. If this was at night with the same temps I think it would be more like 3 or even 4". This assinine obsession with it needing to snow during the day so it can be seen is bullxxxx. They want extreme, more more... and then complain it sux because it melts off quickly but they want it during the day. In March

Down to 32 and almost moderate with little mixing so it's accumulating now. I'll take it.

Snowing nicely, temp is down to 32 so that should help but streets are just wet for now.

I'm a little over 700 feet on an easterly aspect of the hill I live on.

I kinda like them. Not for the absolute numbers but to see snowfall patterns in pretty colors. I can look at a few different snowfall maps and it's easy to visualize good and not so good areas. It makes it easier to decide where to ski and the best way to get there

At least it started as a snow-like substance and now it's all flakes. At 34° I don't know if it stays white though unless it gets heavier and cools it down a little.

Nice breeze dried out the overly wet surface a little bit which is nice. I guess I got lucky because there's no noticeable damage from the wind. So what, one inch tomorrow? Those weekend maps look ugly.

Well, 1" would get me to 40% of average

Like I said, when the conditions are right. Their loss. I'm gonna go find some slushy, bumpy goodness on Monday

Who doesn't ski trees? If the conditions are sufficient that's the only place I want to be.

No, no rain would be terrible. After a relatively dry last 7 months we need the water. There's very little snowmelt going to go into the reservoirs and those of us that live with wells also need it. Drought sucks and it can be worse than too wet.

Oh please no :( Winter can be over, I'm fine with it but please not 4 rainstorms in less than 2 weeks.

Winter can hang on north of I90 or above 1500 feet north of 84 for another couple of weeks but it needs to be done down here.
