  1. Same here, about 1", and with the salt they dropped today over the brine from Friday the streets ought to just stay wet now.
  2. Unless I get more I'm gonna call it at ~1". It was a nice wintry day and that's what really matters at this point in the season unless we're looking at a long extended period of cold that will keep the snow around.
  3. The lines at Shop Rite were impressive. So far this has been pretty lackluster. It's warm, although it is finally back down below freezing so it's starting to accumulate better. In the last few minutes the rates really picked up as the temp dropped so the roads are getting covered. It could be interesting driving soon. 29/28 SN E5
  4. Manda's pics could be from here, that's about what it looks like here too. Roads are mostly wet but starting to whiten (they brined a few days ago so it's just starting to wash off), grassy surfaces have about .5 and elevated is around 1". 30/28 SN (small flakes) ENE5
  5. Temp is up a degree or so, wind is light mostly out of the east and it's flurrying with occasional heavier bursts. Still the same coating to a trace it was at sunrise. 30/26° E4
  6. It has been flurrying for a while and it's starting to accumulate on all surfaces now. 30° and wintry
  7. The 90-100% line is so close you guys ought to be able to see the snow from the top of a tall building. That's gonna sting a little
  8. Damn. My kid is supposed to fly home from Rochester on Friday afternoon.
  9. ^^It's everywhere. I still have a half mile or less visibility.
  10. Some of the area might have made up some of the short term deficit but it will take more for longer to get us out of the hole. The soil has moistened but the groundwater levels haven't really come back yet as evidenced by all of the still dry areas that would be marshy and the rivers are really low. The reservoirs are down more than the usual couple of feet they'd be in early winter, some areas look to be as much as 8 feet down, it's going to take a ton of snow and a quick melt to bring them up quickly.
  11. With the cost of heating oil I'm ok with it being warm.
  12. I just went through the Mesonet cams from that area and only 1 or 2 show anything of consequence.
  13. I just drove down to LaGuardia to pick my kid up and there's random flurries from central Westchester all the way down to the airport
  14. Maybe if that west Antarctica ice shelf breaks off we could tow it to the warm area?
  15. 33° and heavy rain. Just as the coating became really noticeable it flipped to sleet and rain soon after. It was nice to see I guess.
  16. It's been light to moderate snow for a while now, sticking on most surfaces with some slushy buildup along the sides of the streets too. 32-35° around the area so it's just a matter of time before the roads get slick.
  17. I'm supposed to go pick my kid up from school in Brockport. Wanna take a (slow) ride with me? You'll have to look the other way when I stop at one of the Seneca reservation weed stores
  18. Alright, this can end now. We have a booth at the Elephants Trunk flea market and it's raining and it sux
  19. So what's going to happen with tonight's possible rain? As of now it looks to be moving far enough NNW to slide by to our west.
  20. 66 with light rain pushing it just over 1" for the event.
