    My first year playing youth hockey was an outdoor rink and our first practice was a Saturday after a big Friday storm with a cold arctic blast that followed, it was single digit highs and very windy, came close to frostbite that day.

    1994 too, almost every storm the mets were saying were going to miss south and they came north. I know we have better modeling now so it's not the same.

    Its just south at this point, it can come north, hopefully.

    I had that last night, went out with the dog and had a decent flurry but zip on radar.

    Deep winter in the Northern Greens, nice pack and cold, what are you, single digits today? May have to take a trip up this month if things continue.

    When I was in school my friends went to school in the adjacent town of Charlton, the school was up on a hill over at over 1000 elevation, they would get cancelled a lot and we still had to go. Made me want to transfer.

    Ive been waiting for your snow pics today, its been snowing lightly here for a few hours, no accumulation but nice to see flakes in the air.

    I hate water problems, I have a huge stone fireplace that tends to leak when it rains hard, I'm up on the roof 2-3 times a year sealing it and looking for where water can sneak in, I tried flex seal this past summer and it seemed to work.

    Have to get them fitted, you'll hit the ball so much better.

    I have to do my hands and feet every day or they dry out and crack.

    HRRR dos also, looks like it gives us a coating to 1/2 inch.

    It's not just Stowe, I've been to the grocery store when it's slow and they'll be two women with their carriages blocking a 6 foot aisle, oblivious to any other shoppers in the store.
