    I just had one where the buyer was willing to put 25k between sale price and appraisal and it's not even close to enough for how much they overbid.

    A lot of people are selling their houses for crazy prices so have a decent amount of cash to overpay on another house. Just had a conversation this afternoon with a realtor about this very thing, he's never seen people with so much cash to put down and it's all because they got over payed for their current house.

    Same here, I'm ready, I usually take a nice easy swing first couple of times out and do ok, it's when I try and ramp things up when my game goes south so I have to go back to basics.

    As bad as home prices cratered in most of Mass they held steady in the Greater Boston Area back in 2005-2008 so I agree and would expect the same thing to happen again. The city has it's own market.

    I think the Ranch is a good area but I'm not sure where everyone lives, I'm in for the Ranch.

    Serious Berg, lets plan a golf outing with the golfers here this summer, there's enough of us, we can find a somewhat central place to meet in CT.

    Not absurdly high compared to Metro Boston but things are sky high across the state, it's all relative.

    See that shot by Cink? He was halfway down the fairway when the ball dropped in for an ace, he hit it 20 yards past the hole and it slowly rolled down.

    I feel just about the same as you, we had a similar winter, my grades are a half point lower than yours across the board though, average snowfall give or take a few inches is a C to me but other than that agree with your take.

    Those two missed free throws by Duke near the end killed them.

    We start the league last week of April, we used to start earlier but we'd always get a cold rain day or sometimes just too freaking cold to play. One year it was around 40 with drizzle, most miserable I've even been on the course.

    I was too, if I didn't hit my average it was damn close and had the cold. Could have been a lot better but have had a lot worse too.

    I don't know about single digits but some low teens for sure

    I found I can't drink and golf, I save the beer for the clubhouse when the round is done, nothing like an ice cold beer after a round of golf on a hot day.

    I'd like to hear this story. When we were kids a kid in the neighborhood got a stick in the eye while he was playing on a gym set and was blinded.

    I underdressed for an early April game once too and was cold as hell, kept running underneath to the concessions to warm up. Boston in April can chill you to the bone.

    The Dec 92 storm, Nemo and the April's fool storm were some of the highest rates I can remember. I got 12 inches in 3 hours with Nemo, not sure of 97 but it was a consistent 2-3 even 4 inches per hour for awhile.
