Had .65" rainfall in T-Storm last night.
-
Really nasty southern half of NJ into DE.
-
Just .03" here overnight into this morning.
-
In my opinion they may. If July turns out above normal temp wise it would be because of overnight lows and not excessive or persistent above normal daytime highs.
-
I know some places (L.I.) still need it but soils around here need to dry out some.
-
Latest Drought monitor week over week. Would expect significant changes next issuance over EPA and most of NJ, especially NNJ with much of the Abnormally Dry being erased. Long Island should hold steady as they missed the heavy rains over the last week.

one more.
-
Rainfall maps over the last week. Quick glance spots an 8" over Morris County and 9"+ near Easton, PA.
-
Yep, stepped outside and smelled the smoke this morning.
-
Another 1.02" yesterday total last 6 days an even 5.00".
-
Picked up another .72" since 8am. Total yesterday and today at this point is 3.78".
-
Some rain totals from yesterday and over the last 5 days.
-
Received 3.06" last 24 hours. Total since wet period began last Thursday is up to 3.98".
-
Been watching the Easton and Allentown area and that area looks to be getting super soaked since late this morning. Still ongoing there now with a fresh wave of heavy rain.
-
Pretty much same here. About 2” on the day. Same constant rumbling thunder. Heavy rain cones in waves. Based on radar looks to be taking a break for my area now. No real additional new development to my south now and skies brightening to the south.
-
Rounds of heavy rain continue. Near constant low rumbling thunder.
-
Training continues over my area. Up to 1.7" for the day. Based on radar another round coming in shortly.
-
Amazing how the storms just exploded anew on the outflow boundary in central Hunterdon County.
-
Periods of heavy and very heavy rain at times. Up to 1.25” on the day. Have to be local totals up in Sussex County of better than 3” for the day as they have had several rounds of downpours today. Especially central and NW parts of the county.
-
Gutter gushing rains here.
-
Storms to my west and east so far this morning. Zero here so far today and nothing yesterday. Sitting at .92" since the "wet period" began. Goal was 2" by 12Z this coming Thursday. High confidence I make that.
-
Nothing here today. Just got back from Bergen County where it was drench warfare. Route 80 east and westbound flooded in spots (Passaic/ Morris County) due to clogged storm drains. Road was wet until about a mile from my exit (30).

Rainfall reports starting 12Z this past Thursday. Some spots obviously doing better than others so far. Still sticking with my thinking from last week that parts of this forum see localized 7 day totals of 4" and large majority of the forum sees 1-2" totals. We are not getting out of this pattern without some hefty totals across the forum. Minimal activity today but still could see locally heavier totals. Tomorrow looks like an active weather today and I'm expecting to see some heavy totals. Not to mention some reports of hail and gusty winds.

Yeah, not pleasant out there. .60" rain as of 8:00 this morning and an additional .38" after 8am so up to .98" for the event.
-
Received .60" over the last 24 hours. Feeling good about reaching my 2" goal by Thursday morning.
