  1. Many years ago now I worked at the county nursing home off of Quarry Road and there were some interesting "dust storms" from the black dirt. Nothing like out west but enough to reduce visibility and leave the car covered in dirt.
  2. After a low of 23 made it to 64 for the high. Terrific.
  3. KMGJ did gust to 49 during one of the windier bursts when the showers were working through.
  4. You had that much rain...AND thunder?!! Had a couple periods of gusty winds that over-performed in comparison to its radar presentation
  5. Technically the Watch is just to my east
  6. And there it is, Watch issued LOL
  7. 72/49 with scattered clouds moving in now.
  8. 73/53, the dew has been steadily dropping under bright sunny skies
  9. They upgraded two areas. https://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/outlook/day1otlk.html
  10. MGJ is at 364' and was 19 while SWF, 7 miles away as the crow flies at an elevation of 492' was 25. I realize this isn't exactly what you said above but I always find these nuances and microclimates interesting. I've seen much more noticeable differences between Montgomery and Stewart during inversions in the past.
  11. 21 for the low, up to 22 now
  12. And Bonnie Tyler is stuck in my head...
  13. I raked a bit yesterday but the soil is still pretty damp
  14. I'm gonna call it, after lots of tracking, this thread is officially dead now.
  15. I've applied as late as the first week in May but typically shoot for mid April.
  16. That’s a general rule of thumb. You want consistent soil temps in the 50s which seems to come earlier and earlier each year. That said, under best case scenarios the preventer MAY last four months so if it goes down too early you can still get some late season crabgrass. There are various types of crabgrass that germinate at different times of the season.
  17. Yeah, too early in the season for that unless you apply it again mid summer.
  18. After a low of 25, made to 64 for a high, 63 currently.
  19. Oh someone's got jokes! Someone has...jokes! Time for me to make this my personal blog
  20. And…I hear some peepers down but the river. Not all of them but some for sure.
  21. That's a larger area than I expected.
