Hi Rich, agreed on the Cottonwood. A neighbors house had those when I was growing up and out yard would be covered, sometimes, we'd have to sweep the deck as if it was a dusting of snow. Made it down to 43 for the low.
Some how the green beans and peas my wife had planted real early survived the low of 30 a couple weeks ago. Granted the beans took a hit but they are still alive. 36 for the low this morning, up to 56 now.
It only lasted a few minutes. One of the guys I was walking with even asked if it hurt my head more LOL. Must've been sleet as opposed to hail mixed in with the rain shower I would guess.
