I saw whining on Facebook yesterday from a teacher over in Millbrook actually, complaining about her and her kids waking up and having to go to school when they get expected a snow day. Why they expected a snow day yesterday I’m not sure.
4.3” melt d down to .28” which is close to 15:1. I just took a core sample of what’s in the ground to see how that measures up to the Stratus in “snow mode”.
I had people over for the game, every college football Saturday I usually have a house full. After the game we all went down to the Arboretum to checkout the Lights in Bloom. Very nice.
Nice. I have to check my liquid equivalent this morrning. Are you measuring the snow on a board now too? Early season snow totals are notoriously inflated due to the grass still standing up and keeping the snow from actually starting on the ground if folks are measuring in the yard.
2.1”. Very fluffy so this will compact before the official measurement at the end. Snow plastered on everything, this is a perfect holiday season snow fall.
GO ARMY BEAT NAVY
Steady light snow, which I’m sure would be reported as moderate to almost heavy snow by the usual suspects. Somehow it’s managing to stick to everything...
It doesn't change the fact that whatever falls is going to fall but I am surprised there was no WWA posted for OC with the afternoon package. Either way, cheers for snow!
Yep. It doesn't get much better than this IMO. A decent little storm, snowfall most of, if not all, of the day, Saturday, Holiday Season, Army-Navy, adult beverages. No complaints from me.
