  1. That would help to explain the high dew points this week.
  2. I worded that poorly, it’s my departures.
  3. Here’s my rainfall this summer: June: -.49” July: -.64” Aug: +.77” Sept: -1.83” (all but .10” of this fell in the first week)
  4. Could also be the type of turf you have. KBG for example likes its consistent water.
  5. Yea, there’s nothing luscious in this neck of the woods.
  6. So it’s luscious but you haven’t had to cut the grass? I assume that’s a typo. My grass is drying out and for the first time this season I could go longer than a week without mowing but now with the leaf drop I’ll have to mulch anyway.
  7. My lawn is starting to brown as well. I had seeded some areas right after Labor Day and then the rain stopped. It’s my fault.
  8. The Texas A&M Arkansas game was a good one even though I came up on the losing end. I’ve got USC/ Cal on one TV with Mich/Pur on the other.
  9. I mulched leaves again this morning, my maples are just turning brown so far, thanks to the heat I’m figuring
  10. I like winter but I also like fall, while tonight is decent I can’t believe my ac will be running again on Sunday for days.
  11. And I purposely worded that to say "behind on this" thinking I wouldn't give you a shot but you took it anyway. My feelings are hurt now.
  12. Yes, sorry I'm a bit behind on this, congrats on the new addition to the family. All the best.
  13. But look at the rains Jose will bring... yeah, we yawn.
  14. I don't mind the warmth at this point but the DP above 60 could go away sooner rather than later. I should be getting ready to take out my ACs, not running them on a regular basis.
  15. Every morning starts with dense fog these days. The amount of leaves falling at this date really is something, I have to clear off my deck at least once a day.
  16. The littering of my yard in leaves has begun already, which seems a touch early for IMBY
  17. Had decent fog at home that was gone by the time I got to Goshen, not sure if it mixed out on my ride or the fog was localized at home due to the river. Anyone else have fog this morning?
  18. Found this quote in the main thread: "Also, Barbuda, home to about 1,600 people, was "so badly damaged that there is no communication" from the island, said Keithley Meade, director of a meteorological office in Antigua and Barbuda."
  19. Based on the videos I've seen this morning from various locations down there I'm guessing that they didn't fare too well.
