In addition to what’s been pointed out already part of it IMO is many people here just want double digit jackpot snow amounts. So if that’s not in their forecast they out.

Cams continue to show complete whiteout conditions with that line to the west.

After a high of 62 a couple hours ago, down to 41 now

The Wallkill mesonet still has the 2” soil temp at 32.4

Washing machine like wind swept rain with the front here now near MGJ, 62 degrees

61 degrees at 4am…in February. Pressures rapidly falling, as will the temps in a couple hours. I grew up in the era of “Sticks and stones may break my bones but names with never hurt me” but for those who did not, it’s a legit blow dryer out there. Wait wut?
