  3. The weenies who don’t know how to stick with the ensembles a week out...
  4. The GFS is faster with it coming in than the Euro, those details will get ironed out over this week. Walt started a thread for this potential storm earlier this morning: https://www.americanwx.com/bb/topic/54427-noreaster-snow-ice-rain-for-the-nyc-forum-late-sunday-jan-31-early-tue-feb-2/
  5. I was thinking the same thing this morning, trending a bit better. I'll be doing some virtual snow chasing too in the Sierras this week...
  6. Definitely missed out on some storms but had 46” in February, 64.5” for that winter which was 22.3” above average.
  7. Nice little squall action here now along with gusty winds.
  8. Snow shower has commenced here in Campbell Hall, 40/30.
  9. Don’t forget frozen car locks, .couldn’t even get the key in the slot let alone turn it.
  10. Waking up to 34 degrees in the middle of January...
  11. The past couple of days has done it most of whatever snow I had left in the shady north facing spots, down to just piles now. I was surprised how long it held on considering temps are solidly above normal but the cloudy days helped...I guess they were good something...not really.
  12. So this year is better than last and I still have some snow on the ground but this is till no way to run January IMO:
  13. Yes sir, view from my bedroom. Sure the weather is “boring” in that there is no snow but it was a beautiful sunrise, one has to take it all in and appreciate it.
  14. You know what they say...red sky in the morning, this weather is totally boring...
  15. Yeah, mild is a relative, arbitrary, term. It’s easier, more accurate, to just say it’s solidly above normal.
