  1. My son and I just referred to this classic as well LOL
  2. That measurement was from one of my extra boards I threw down in a spot that in hindsight is not located all that well, my wife’s car is likely blocking it a bit. My other board is out further in the open yard, didn’t wonder down there.
  3. 19/16 and closing in on 5” but terrible flakes out there now, not a good sign for the short term.
  4. I wonder if it caused by the dry slot down near Philly making it further north. Not a fan of that Euro run, we shall see.
  5. 20/16 solid moderate snow, border line heavy snow.
  6. March 2017 the dry slot capped me at 20", hopefully it stays to my south in this storm.
  7. Was going to post this in the other thread but then the weenies who have no concept of geography would either call me a liar or think that I was referring to their own back yard...Euro has us flirting with 0 or slightly below Saturday morning.
  8. If you think people will realize this its entirely possible that you will end up unhappy.
  9. Violently agree. Right in my hood NYS 416 can get some serious drifting, NYSDOT will be pushing the banks back for days.
  10. What JC said, which is much more eloquent than I what I can say which is its always a nowcast IMO as there are so many nuances with storms like this. Part of the reason I got.4” in one of those busts up here was that I was stuck in subsidence as a heavy band dumped snow about 10 miles to my south. Where those areas set up always comes down to nowcasting.
  11. It did make quite the jump, it took long enough!
  12. Looks delicious! I can trace back some family to County Cork.
  13. I love that expression, been using it myself for years now, often asking people how much so and so pays them to rent the space you’re giving them in your head.
  14. Oh how dare you Sir! @BxEngine please ban him now!
  15. It truly will be interesting to see how this plays out. You have to give the GFS credit for being consistent with the more southerly snows but it’s becoming increasingly difficult to believe ALL the three models are wrong.
  16. As crazy as it sounds to some, that storm was frustrating because my temp was 33-34 for much of the storm. It was pouring snow but not adding up as much because was it so wet and settling in on itself. It started piling up again once the cold air rushed in and it changed to powder.
