  1. My first mow was on Saturday to even it all out
  2. I don't recall what his total was and since he does not keep records we have to hope that in his advanced age he can recall why that storm still stings.
  3. .30” here, the sun was out for a bit about a half hour ago, 45/43
  4. Still have one snow board leaning against the side of the house, maybe it'll get put to work again. As for shoveling....nah
  5. Another of the many signs of spring around here is when the farmers manure their fields, smelled the first ones last month.
  6. I’ll see your dog poop and raise you deer poop.
  7. @hudsonvalley21 I see what you’re saying about the lawn mower, I’m in NW at Moms, her yard is about a week away from a full mow but the sunny spots could use it now.
  8. We’ll see. Either way I had to get to the twigs before the grass really takes off.
  9. I’m sure we’ll have another wind event or two which will litter the yard again but at least once a year, for a few hours at least, it’s cleaned up from twigs.
  10. 42 after a low of 26, 24 yesterday morning, and close to half the yard raked as the grass is greening up.
  11. .87 total in the bucket, the winds aren’t as bad here as Friday but...it’s still windy...
  12. Oh look, another Wind Advisory...is it my imagination or are we getting more wind events these days than previously?
  13. Low of 57 here thus far today....average low is around 30.
  14. Peepers made their first appearance here last week so yes, it’s happening.
  15. Yeah, I was thinking this morning after getting shut out, not that there would’ve been much, that if I were to grade this winter it would be a C, tops. Feb was great but bookended by a lot of meh. As mentioned by others, December was decent until 12/24. Agreed on the drought stuff, hard to acknowledge the below normal precipitation this time of year but we’ll see what happens once everything greens ups and leafs out...1.06” yesterday in the Status.
  16. Good morning! I like photos like that, I did this one a few years ago now
  17. Last patch of unpiled snow trying to hold on
  18. Up to 72 with high clouds off to my west now, will see soon if that’s the high for the day.
  19. One of the worse sunburns I ever had was from skiing on St Paddy’s Day in 1994. Thankfully it was limited to my face, neck, and a small dome shape on the back of my bald head from the opening on my adjustable cap. Been carrying sunscreen in the car ever since, never leave home without it! But I’m home today anyway, enjoying what Mother Nature is throwing at me right now.
