  1. not to mention there's no wind advisories or warnings up by NWS
  2. Henri was an actual storm with an eye-this is just remnants. I've see it go hog wild on winds with other systems too and it seems overdone most of the time-maybe it scores the coup here. (although I would laugh if we got more wind out of this that the Henri bust)
  3. it's odd-I'm in a different area than you but I have not noticed it being buggy here this year-actually seems less buggy which makes no sense given all the rain since Memorial day weekend
  4. 12z is quicker but still a drencher. JP over central PA with 10 inches. Most models have hit that area hard for several days
  5. yeah it was '38 but just a bit further east. Was trucking too-moving NNE about 35mph.
  6. I was kind of glad when Henri busted. Sure we all want to see a big storm in our backyard but the aftermath would suck....
  7. I shudder to think of what that will be like here when it happens. No power for months
  8. tropical moisture interacting with a front-I'll take the over anyday on that. The rain we had with the remnants of Henri was crazy
  9. yeah someone will see some quick flash flooding for sure with this...the question is exactly where. Perhaps closer to the stalled front which would be the south coast?
  10. August 2011 was crazy here with Irene and then some other events before that.
