  1. These tropical systems always seem to deliver. Model review: UKMET was the most consistent. RGEM/CMC did well at the end but were too far south until about 48 hrs out. HRRR did well-pinpointed the high totals along and north of I-95 Interesting to see the models correct south at the last second yesterday, that's been rare-usually the north trend continues right up to go time.
  2. that's going to be easy to hit in all liklihood
  3. about 6 inches of rain here, some branches down lots of flooded basements.
  4. Some of those areas had 8-10 inches of rain from Henri just 10 days ago-so this round of flooding had a head start with saturated ground.
  5. imagine if this had hit this afternoon....
  6. very heavy rain now-some lightning to the south
  7. lots of lightning here-but rain has been not that heavy so far...maybe about .75

  9. New NAM jackpots most of CT with 6-7 inches of rain on top of what's fallen
  10. 18z NAM moved a bit south....6-8 inches N and W of NYC but the 2 inch line is further south-this run would drop a quick 3-4 inches in the city
  11. It'll be close...some models keep the warm front just to our south...if that happens we'll get hammered.
