  1. it's the 84 hr NAM but it stalls the low off the SC/NC coast so nothing at all.
  2. looks like more of a mid-atlantic event maybe we catch some showers on the northern flank-anyone got the UKMET?
  3. Model war-GFS is dry with a high kicking it east off the VA Capes and NAM looks like it has a big high over Maine at hour 84 up to Massachusetts
  4. all depends on the SE ridge-if that flexes no cold air will be able to penetrate east of the apps or even the mississippi
  5. Not exactly a bold statement as we head deeper into October lol
  6. I enjoyed that year once it was obvious what was going on. Low heating bills, hiking/biking it was actually kind of nice. 80 in March!
  7. If it's going to be a torch winter give me '11-'12
  8. I think September holds the title for most sunny days....
  9. no one buys a copy of the almanac if it says warm/snowless...cold and snow sells so they go with that every year like JB does
  10. temps never went anywhere here today with drizzle all day. Classic October back door front
  11. upton says it will be pushed south by high pressure developing over NE

  14. he's really gone off the rails lately with some of his twitter posts both with Covid and weather
  15. even tomorrow is iffy-much warmer air just to our south and 6z Euro keeps us mostly dry tomorrow (more north of the city)
  16. shows you how diverse and different NE is-was in the mid to upper 70's with sun all day
  17. Quite the temp gradient on Monday on the GFS--inches of rain for Central NE but nothing for most of us verbatim
  18. we're due for a wet week-been really dry since the big 9/1 Ida deluge. Let's see if it actually happens though.
  19. some models are wet starting Mon/Tue (euro/gfs) others are fairly dry-CMC....that will factor into high temps for sure
  20. yeah alot of times the models will show 7-10 days with little rain, but look at yesterday-that snuck up on us within 48 hrs
