North and west areas can get something-we've had accumulating snow here into early April. Of course you do need fresh arctic air and the event to occur at night....for the city and immediate coast it's unlikely after about 3/15...

rain here

When was the last time we had -5 for ANY month? Feb 2015?
-
That's got to be a top 5 storm up there- they usually don't get monsters like that...looks like a long duration event.

A low north of the great lakes is usually not an indicator of snow here....

67 here
-
63 at BDR breaks the old record by 6 degrees at 10am
-
Have to think March evens out--Jan was +10 and Feb looks to be +5 or +6 temp wise...
-
.4 of an inch of snow in the park supports the weiner
-
Once past 3/10 or so we need snowfall/ice events to be at night....
-
Yeah and not to open up a can of worms but the Covid vaxx stuff on twitter was really strange...
-
NW Massachusetts maybe so about 90 miles north of Danbury. Sad. I'm about 20 miles SE of Danbury and we have not had a plowable event in over a year now...
-
He's banking on a March 2018 outcome with the SSWE and the MJO going to 8-1-2
-
We've had a hard time getting into the 8-1-2 combo in recent years
-
Expect historic snows then--up till now he was calling for cold/snow every week

most will close by then simply b/c the clocks will go ahead and people's attention turn to other activities-no snow in people's backyards really hurts too...that's often a motivator to ski.
