  1. I'd get them out-that's likely in the cross hairs
  2. models all moving that way...depends on the trough orientation further north ultimately
  3. I don't know. This is looking more and more like Charley (2004) as we get closer.
  4. Upton had a 20% chance here. It verified. Cool to see a storm literally pop overhead. 7 inches of rain here since the Tuesday after Labor Day....
  5. crazy popped right over head-lot of lightning and heavy rains .75
  6. dumps 25 inches of rain on Tampa verbatim. wow.
  7. Ian. Louisana? No model has that.
  8. front is through here-temps and dews down 5 degrees instantly
  9. steady moderate/heavy rain here 2nd batch of the day
  10. Great day here with clear skies and temps in the high 70's. Going to miss it for awhile.
  11. I would think it would recurve NE if that were the case. Best bet panhandle then rip quickly NE up the coast.

  13. ends up near Cancun-much further SW
  14. Hopefully. I want a 1938 into NY Harbor.
  15. yeah Charley went in much further S than expected, the friction with the land pulled him in near Port Charlotte, FL. -
  16. would be hard for it to "fall apart" over Cuba if it were moving from S to N-there's not much land to traverse.
  17. Sandy was 940 or so, but the core of the hurricane was gone as it transitioned to Extra tropical...
  18. Crushes the FL panhandle this GFS run-but it's fantasy land range
