  1. It’s like any event though. You need to be above 7-8k feet to get the goods out west. The 5-6’ stuff is only across the very highest elevations.
  2. It’s insane I’ve seen 8” per hour snowfall rates here. Early season events are very sloppy too, not fluff.
  3. The 2 from last year. https://www.weather.gov/buf/lesEventArchive?season=2022-2023&event=A
  4. Just come up to Buffalo for a lake effect storm. Shorter drive and you dont have to chase in the rural areas/mountains. You can stay in a big town. We just got this a few weeks ago. Last winter we had 2 storms bigger and worse than this one. The one in January we recorded snowfall rates of over 5" per hour. Its all on my YouTube channel in my signature if you want to check it out. In the last 13 months I had a 80" storm in 3 days, a 53" storm with 70 MPH winds, and a 76" storm over 5 days.
  5. Still super 2.0 rounded, everyone here told him no chance and he stuck with his guns, props!
  6. Yep we do here. 5-10" overall, very large snowbanks still everywhere.
  7. We got slammed here in Buffalo 70-85” the last week, hardest hit were areas just south of Buffalo
  8. We got slammed here in Buffalo 70-85” this week in hardest hit areas, 76” here

  11. Got destroyed overnight almost 2’ here, just north of here got 30-40” since 8 pm last night
  12. Appreciate that strong! I’ll be going live again next few days as we’re getting another 2-3’!
  13. 41" storm total here. Winter storm watches in effect for another 1-2'
  14. Off Lake Erie... A newly formed plume of heavy lake effect snow will position itself over the Buffalo Southtowns for the midday and afternoon. Snowfall rates could be as high as 3-5"/hr for sites like Hamburg and Orchard Park. The snow will be accompanied by wind gusts to 40 mph...but gusts as high as 50 mph will be possible on the edges of the band. For tonight, the snow band should remain centered across or near the southtowns, with a subtle northward drift into Buffalo late in the night. The band will not extend as far inland due to weaker winds. This said, snowfall rates of 1-3 in/hr will still be possible in what`s likely to be a more narrow but still intense band. Snow will be fluffier by tonight, with an additional 6 inches likely across the southtowns, with localized amounts to a foot.
