  1. M = ? Moderate, middling, mild, massive, meaningful, merciless, masturbatory?
  2. Merry Christmas Everyone! What’d I miss?
  3. A festive coating that may or may not last but definitely adds to the Christmas Eve enjoyment.
  4. If I’m ever feeling stressed from work, I just jump on here for a couple minutes and realize I’m good, life is excellent and I’ve got nothing to worry about! Then, with that big smile on my face and feeling of contentment, I carry on with my day enjoying each minute that ticks by.
  5. Helpful and easy to understand explanations from you both. I actually have seen that before and know what you mean. I'm not sure if I've noticeably witnessed it in real-time but am thinking I likely have seeing flakes land on my gloved hand and breaking up before. Please pardon my fuzzy memory, it's been a few years since we've gotten a meaningful storm here
  6. 26.1, Blue skies and snowless grass down here. I hear DAW is mid-sixties and beautiful today.
  7. This is actually observable? Curious if it can be seen with the naked eye or if it is viewed via film or high speed camera? I can't say if I've actually looked for this or seen it at any point over the years or not, but it's interesting to consider this happens.
  8. She's definitely mistaken. Wasn't the kitchen thermometer - it was outside on the way home from school, trudging uphill all the way back.
  9. Judging by the YTD (lack of) snow map for the area posted yesterday, I’m inclined to believe there’s a subterranean lava flow or caldera running from SE’rn ME into the Lowell/Methuen area. 7.2/-2.2 for the morning low here.
  10. Is there a reason, theory, explanation or otherwise to explain that hole of nothingness that spans from SE NH into Northern MA? I may be completely wrong, but it feels like that's been happening for the past 2-3 years or so. Is it terrain based? Just seems odd that this particular spot is kept snow-free while there's at least some snow all around it.
  11. I have some experience with these. Always a disappointment.
  12. Ended up with easily (almost) a tenth of an inch from this last night. You could still see some of the individual flakes doing their best to avoid touching each other on our porch roof this morning. Completely gone by early afternoon and I question if it actually even happened.
  13. I enjoyed the early analysis thread of the long lead up to this last storm and would encourage you to run another for this threat if you found a benefit to it. My only request would be to do your best to delay this arriving until around 1/10-1/20 as we'll be up at Bretton Woods
  14. I noticed the same thing on Route 33 out my way. Kinda weird. Nobody getting too crazy. Except for that Subaru behind me - Dude! Give at least a couple car lengths!
  15. I envision your own personal stacks are gray and dry from top to bottom, cherry-picking each piece with a moisture meter in hand savoring the best hard wood hearty warmth all season long. I'm not jealous, you're jealous!
  16. 26.1 currently at home. Never got above 29 today. Out and about earlier in Stratham and 33 got SLICK. Lots of traffic but most folks keeping their wits about them.
  17. Thank you both for the info and details, I appreciate it.
