Wait...they offer other items beyond the filet o'fish?! It's like the only thing I can tolerate from there but it's been awhile since I've had one too. Pro Tip if you like these: some locations offer a DOUBLE filet o'fish that may only be available on the app. If they only give a standard dose of tartar sauce, it can be as dry as @dendrite's chicken run. If you gamble and go for extra tartar you may need to clean up like @ineedsnow after seeing a Kuchera totals map for a pending winter storm.

Both great examples of how the current internet/Twitter/X/Youtube hype focuses on the worst case scenarios and is ultimately a detriment to any real cause. Who gives a crap about CC when a Carrington event or super caldera eruption is in the cards? Certainly not Joe Sixpack who's toiling away at some menial job to keep the lights on and maybe bring the family to McDonald's on the weekend.

You didn't happen to teach Biology at Manchester Central HS in about 1990 or so did you? I had a teacher there that was super passionate about all of this and would occasionally use us students as a captive audience to vent to. Sounded just like this! I recall this one time when he was on a tear, face getting more and more red as he went on, none of us saying anything and then that apparently pissed him off too so he lays into us with "Are you fkn listening to me!!!?!?!?" We're all kind of like "Yeah, we really don't have a choice". There was this one skinhead kid in class though that piped up and said "Calm down dude! You're losing it!" Good times. People definitely get passionate about topics they hold dear. Fuck Central HS.

I saw this posted online and it was presented as real but I didn't verify it. I don't doubt it however and I believe this is along the lines of what @vortex95 is talking about with regard to hype. Consider if this bar chart went all the way to zero and those gaps between numbers remained the same - it would challenge the Burj Khalifa!
