another .45" this afternoon, about .35" of that once again falling in just 10 minutes so now the total since 5/20 is 4.90". not bad. the sun is starting to break through now.

just checked: .45" in 10 minutes this morning. 4.45" since 5/20. and more on the way.

torrential on and off rain, thunder and lightning. it alternates between almost sunny to the street lights coming on—very dramatic weather this morning.

a total of 3.93" of rain from this system. the most rain I've seen in years.

3.51" so far of wonderful rain, although the brown patches are still somewhat brown. keep it coming. and the heat is on for a bit this afternoon because the house feels too damp.

made it almost all the way home from Winchester and now there’s a deluge outside—the roads are rivers. there was some debris on the road in Berryville so it must have gusted there decently.

the storm fell apart as it got here but at least it rained and left us with this:

incoming storm is warned for winds and quarter-size hail.

an overnight low of 25 and lots of sparkly frost everywhere earlier. hope that's the end of that nonsense until the fall.

accumulating hail or sleet—roofs, cars, mulch, grass. 40/34, down from 45 last hour. and yesterday i drove through snow in the Poconos—it’s the most frozen precip i’ve seen in April in a long time.

drove back from Wilkes-Barre today—in the snow. just crazy after being in record setting high temps while i was in Connecticut last week.
