  1. This is stacking up very quickly. 3" since starting in earnest about 1.5 hours ago. Pure fluff. 27F
  2. 6.5" OTG in Middletown, CT. Heavy snow. 24F
  3. Still all snow in Middletown. Ground white, driveway slushy. 32.9F
  4. Temp dropping quickly. Down 1.3 degrees to 33.4F in the past 25 minutes. All snow now in Middletown, CT. Grass whitening.
  5. Starting to change over to snow in Middletown. Temp had plateaued at 35F for a bit, but now dropping again. 34.7F
  6. Down another degree to 35 in Middletown. Saw* a couple of snowflakes mix in during heavier precip. Seems like we're running about 5 degrees cooler than OKX forecast. *possibly hallucinated
  7. 36F in Middletown, CT. That's down from 43F at about 7:30. Surprised we've cooled off that much already down in the valley. Was wondering if there was something wrong with my thermometer, but it's right in line with nearby sites on wunderground. Still all rain.
  8. About .7 inch here in Middletown. 33F. Roads getting slushy.
  9. Pico was fantastic today. Not as fluffy as Stowe appears to be, but soft, wind-packed snow virtually everywhere. Woods were fantastic. Bump trails were sublime with soft snow even in the deep troughs. Giant Killer, which always seems to be a mess, was lovely on the left side. I picked a perfect day to debut my new Elan Ripstick 106s. Love them! Managed 22 runs today and 35K vertical feet, which is the most I've had since I started keeping track. Giant Killer
  10. Those pics from Bachelor look amazing. I need to get out there some day. Skiing at Pico on Tuesday was sublime. Falling snow, windloading, and light crowds allowed for fresh tracks most of the day. Blank slate on lots of trails:
  11. A few pics from last weekend: View from Lincoln Peak at SB: Upper KA trees, Pico KA trees, reflection
  12. 4.5 inches so far in Reading, VT
  13. True enough. Haven't spent much time down there, but figure a struggle with warmth is part of doing business for those areas. Killington/Pico reporting 10" today with snow showers continuing. With another round of snow forecast for the weekend, MLK conditions might be OK. Heading up on Friday.
  14. They are open now. You can see folks skiing on the web cam. They've averaged about 70" the past couple of years. Last year they actually set their record for longest continuous season. http://www.skisugar.com/sugar-mountain-stats/
  15. @The 4 Seasons 5" OTG in Middletown. Including the melted snow yesterday morning, storm total probably between 6-7 inches.
  16. Coming down pretty heavily in Middletown. About 1" OTG. 30F
  17. Yeah. Rates have been impressive, but not the snow-fog that I've seen in the real biggies that yielded 4+ inches/hour over the past decade.
  18. Estimating about 10" here. Looks like about 2"/hour. Looks like we'll probably get a foot without much trouble. 32F
  19. About 8" on cold surfaces. Heavy snow with tremendous snowgrowth. Seems like we'll easily get 10+ 32F
  20. 32/24 About 3" down Moderate snow with great growth
  21. Still 28F here with ZR. 2" snow earlier, now thoroughly encrusted. Going to be rough tomorrow morning.
