  1. I think he was going to get fired regardless of today's outcome, they can't bring him back. But they should have played Brissett, not Milton.
  2. Working from home today and it is snowing quite nicely, grassy surfaces covered....nice win, will take anything I can get
  3. After these last 2 years, I will be happy to just have cold weather
  4. I started mine today too, fired right up. Used it once last year, though I could have shoveled it.
  5. Just read latest BOX AFD...they write, best chance for storms is "South and East of Pike"..... I guess East can be correct, there is an East, but never saw that one before.....that should have been caught
  6. Here in Walpole, just south of Norwood (home of Brian Albert) saw flash and crack directly overhead....not much of a storm at all, but that was pretty cool. Onto round 2?
  7. It was a strange sensation...I'm on the second floor of my building and my felt like a truck hitting it and moving it faintly side to side...continued for 10 seconds or so with the rattle and the move.
  8. anybody else just feel the earth move? Pretty sure it was a quake, never felt that before.
  9. Snow of varying intensity for about the past hour, so will take the win with that. Came down really well for about 15 minutes, beautiful big flakes, enough to whiten the ground. Now it is just flakes in the air, not much wind.
  10. I am, just about 5 miles from Gilette here in Walpole. Beautiful snow falling, nice fluffy aggregates.
  11. We have been here since 2003, moved in the day after the Aaron Boone home run (I can only write the because of 2004 and subsequent years) and lost power only once before, the October snow for about half a day. Been out since yesterday morning and they told us up to 3 days; lots of damage around town as we drove around last night, poles cracked half way up, trees and wires down, roads blocked. Definitely an impressive storm.
  12. Cars stuck in water under railroad bridge, FD gonna barricade it. Line through and it is like spigot shut off....quiet for the time being
  13. As that line moves through it got very dark, wind howling with rain blowing off roofs. Have had the fire scanner on all morning, non-stop trees and lines down all over town.
  14. One of my favorite storms, I remember being completely shocked that it began to snow and then that it came down so hard. Was a kid in Cranston at the time, I think it was a Saturday/Sunday event?
  15. Condolences Jeff. Nothing prepares you for this onslaught, prayers your way.
  16. You are obviously following it closely, too. I thought about including those details, but there is so much detail to take in I didn't want to overwhelm the people who haven't followed it but yeah, selling the house that had been in their family since they were kids in yet another red flag. And the naysayers will always say how do all of the people in the house stick to the story without cracking. That answer is easy because originally, they only reported 4 people in the house, not 11, that only came out once TB started digging. And their story is really simple and almost impossible to mess up: John O'Keefe never came in the house. Any moron can keep that story straight. And we haven't even brought up that the lead State Trooper investigating is friends with the Albert and McCabe families, a fact he never disclosed. So much corruption it is hard to believe.
  17. It's a good question. A couple of days after the incident, a man with some inside knowledge, relayed to him by a person who was in the house the night of the fight, went to Karen Read's lawyers office and said Karen didn't kill him, there was a fight in the house and that is how he died. Ever since that time it has been a rock fight for Read's team to get any data from the state. For example, they still have not tested DNA on O'Keefe's clothing. It is in a California lab. This is a critical piece of evidence that could exonerate her. If you look at the autopsy photo, the wounds on O'Keefe's left arm appear to be from a dog, The state says no, it is from when his arm dragged on the ground after he was hit. As Brett says with the whole thing stinking, the home owner had a German Sheppard that was trained and was in the home the night of the fight. If there was a fight, that dog was attacking the non-family member. After having the dog for years, the home owner suddenly got rid of the dog with no info forth-coming on where the dog went. The home owner was never asked about any of this. They were never questioned as suspects at all. Turtleboy brought light to all of this. You almost need to take the time to read it and understand it because there are many layers to it.
