Big storm flirted but ultimately skirted me, and I'm more than fine with that. @Mount Joy Snowman should be getting hit hard about now.
0.24" of rain here.
I was in East Petersburg all evening visiting a friend, with just light to moderate rain. Will give a full report from KMJS in the morning. But certainly nothing crazy, thank god.

Looks like heavy rain won’t come to fruition in the LSV.
It sure looks like that weak batch out in front will help limit the severe. Welcomed news if it pans out that way.

Just drove through torrential rain on Rt. 30 east of Mountville. Water running everywhere.
Yeah my buddy said he had the tiniest bit of heavy rain near Marietta Avenue and it immediately started running everywhere, ground just has no tolerance for it around us. Hope it's a not a bad scene later and the storms move through in a quick manner.

Already a storm popping east of Mount Joy.There are sure to be some rogue stragglers, which could absolutely pack a quick punch, but I was speaking more to the main cluster. Things do usually move in quicker than guidance suggests though.

Curious about timing today for LanCo.... What is everyone thinking?
Everything I've looked at seems to be pointing towards a later in the evening type event, like possibly even well after sunset.

Low of 72 with no rain, thankfully. Spent last evening helping a buddy cleanup his property. Now we see what fun today brings.

Low of 72 with 4.04” of rainfall. Pleasantly surprised to see the trains running smoothly this morning. I agree with @Jns2183 about the lightning bugs being plentiful this year. The kids were catching loads of ‘em out at Codorus this past weekend.

.22” rain today for me
Everyone ok, safe, no flooding?
All good here, despite getting nearly 4”, but have some friends in the Mount Joy area dealing with some pretty significant issues.

Does anyone know if 30 in LanCo is open yet?
I crossed over it a bit ago near the stoney battery and prospect road exits and it was a crawl heading westbound. Eastbound was fine.

Things have moved over my way and the lightning is just insane, left and right on top of us. Hope I don't lose another garage opener ha. I just got an inch in damn near 15 minutes. Insane.

Lots of high water rescues being called into Mt. Joy and surrounding areas with numerous reports of over 5".

Going to be major flooding again in Mount Joy. Over 2 inches on the day.
Yep, just relentless. Glad I didn't have to take the train out of Mt. Joy today.

That big blob of storms just skirted me here. Lots of thunder but nary a drop. Looks like the Mt. Joy - Manheim area could be in for another thrashing. Paging @Itstrainingtime

A LOT of popcorn on that radar today. A couple brief rounds have already rolled through here. Juicy.

Low of 74 with .02" of rain. We were out in Codorus State Park on Saturday and were lucky enough to never see rain, despite loads of storms being just miles to our west. Then the opposite happened Sunday morning, with lots of storms just to our east, and again no rain falling on us until after we left to come home. It was uncanny watching the radar dance all around us. We really got lucky.

Finished yesterday with 1.88" of rain for a 2 day total of 2.90".
Very nice pal. I’m at the Stormers game with my nephew. Splendid evening. We didn’t even realize it was a double header until we walked in, totally brain farted on the fact that last night’s game was rained out. Stormers with a big rally in the 1st inning of game two!

Low of 69 and 1.79" of rain. The rain wasn't as dramatic as I thought it would be yesterday. Outside of that initial burst, it was actually fairly soaking in nature and spread out over the course of four hours. The ground seemed to eat it up quite well.

Think I’m seeing a bad scenario starting to develop in Lancaster County again.
.Was just coming here to say the same thing. Drove through a deluge from the mounty joy train station to my house. Same places that got hammered last week may be in for a double whammy. Don’t like all the back-building and slow moving I’m seeing.

Only a little over a half inch here.

Flash flood warnings up here. That was 1.75” rain in 45 mins or whatever.
13 minutes ago, Itstrainingtime said:Up to 0.62" in 15 minutes so far.
As I watched it out the window up here in Harrisburg, I thought the visibilities were similar to a heavy snowfall. Knew those rates had to be something special. Seems that’s confirmed.

Low of 71 with .68” of rain. My grass is out of control, been impossible to find a time to fit a mow in around my schedule.
