  1. 54 when I left the house, 50 through the rurals with some nice valley fog.
  2. I’ve been meaning to make a post of this nature because, when I do my daily checks, I’ve been stunned by how many times this summer MDT has come in a good 2-5 degrees warmer than even CXY for daily lows. I know we’re all aware of MDT’s tendency to run high for minimums this time of year but it seemed especially egregious. They are routinely the warmest station in the state along with PHL. That’s why I had to laugh when that one guy popped in a while back to rant about MDT being too cold of a spot for our area. I didn’t bother responding but about spit out my drink haha. I’m not even in a cold spot relative to most of the forum and I can’t tell you how many times my low will be something like 54 and MDT’s will be like 60 ha. Speaking of, it was 54 when I left the house this morning. Carry on.
  3. Ah C’mon Candy, live a little! We go in the river all the time. Got to build up that immune system. It’s like George Carlin used to say, they never got sick as kids because they swam in the Brooklyn River haha. “We swam in sewage!”
  4. Low of 48. Love hearing about these low readings. Might do it again tonight.
  5. Sitting at 55/48 at midnight…..oh yeah, gonna be lots of 40s out there tonight.
  6. Here's a new one......national low of 27 near Big Bay, MI. Looks like a ULL feature could control our weather late next week through the weekend, and then a possible warmup after that. Onward.
  7. National low was 31 near Davis, WV........Bradford hit 35. Damn.
  8. Your boys have been something else this year. Who would have thought they’d be tied with the Yanks at this juncture.
  9. Again, @TimB I'm not sure what's funny about this. You know who else is looking at a really chilly August? MDT, who's likely to finish with its 1st or 2nd coldest August in 30+ years. I'm not here to carry the banner for @ChescoWx or vouch for everything he says, but at this point you're just trying to be a d$ck.
  10. Could be wrong but I believe we have our first "official" reading in the 30s for Pennsylvania, as BFD hit 37 last night.
  11. You’re in such a great spot for inversion nights.
  12. Low of 52. Such a nice crisp morning. Skies have been gorgeous lately too.
  13. They don’t come much better, although we’re sure going to try the next few days. Just splendid stuff.
  14. 55 when I left the house, may go a tick lower yet.
  15. I may regret this but @TimB may I ask why you have started putting laughing emojis on most of @ChescoWx's posts? I mean, if you just don't like the guy or disagree with some of his general themes, that's fine, but laughing at every post seems a bit much. Most of the posts are just brief summaries and forecasts that aren't controversial in any way. As an example, below is his post from last Wednesday, which I believe is the first one you started mocking. I can't think of a more benign harmless post. Food for thought. "We saw some light rain amounts overnight and this early AM including 0.05" at both Glenmoore and East Nantmeal. Shower chances will continue both today and tomorrow with continued cooler than normal temperatures. We clear up Friday and Saturday with our temperatures rebounding to near normal before a cold front moves through on Sunday which will allow for the return of an autumnal feel in the air."
  16. Low of 64 and a trace of rain yesterday morning. Let our week of perfect weather begin.
  17. Low of 66. Had a nice camp fire last night. Rain chances looking pretty minimal for today, then quite dry moving forward. Cool nights and morning dew should keep the grass decent though.
  18. Just mowed, what a phenomenal day. Time for some libations and grilling. Next week is going to be heavenly.
  19. Low of 59. Gorgeous today and tomorrow, a touch muggy on Sunday, and then a taste of Fall next week. Football season is upon us boys, let's go!
