Current temp of 50 is the low. Only .12” of rain as the storm line was pretty underwhelming here. Down near freezing the next couple nights, time to bring the palm in for the year. Onward.

Low of 58 with .03” of rain. Should be a nice line passing through ahead of this cold front this evening.

Low of 52. No rain here. Interesting couple of weather days ahead. Big win for the Brewers last night.

62 at the house, 57 through the low rurals. Got a muggy one to get through today. Onward.

This makes me sad. I know it hasn’t been great but it’s still another data point to consider when trying to get a feel for a forecast. Plus it’s had its wins over the years. It’s being replaced by the RRFS, correct? Some other legacy models being replaced by this too, no? Less weather models to check is never a good thing in my book.

So, a nice little parenting story about this that some of you will appreciate. We took our boat out for the final time of the season yesterday and planned on cleaning it real good and basically get it ready for the winter. We had just gotten out there and are sitting in the middle of the river with the sun shining, pretty much have the river to ourselves. Wife and I had an old bottle of champagne we decided to bring along and no sooner than we pop the bottle and take our first sip do we get a call from our daughter’s preschool saying she has a fever and we have to come get her. Never freaking fails. All for some low grade fever and of course she is perfectly fine this morning. Kids, gotta love ‘em!

Solid rain falling, as the current temp of 56 is the low. Looks to be a little over a half inch in the gauge but I’ll get an official two-day tally tomorrow morning. Great dreary day to be couch-locked.
