  1. Low of 47. Splendid day today. Took the kids to see Hempfield’s big win last night. Now let’s see if Penn State can rally the troops and do the same. I have my doubts. Onward.
  2. Wow, I love the optimism, but I am, uuummm, on the complete opposite side as you haha. I think Grunk will be totally overwhelmed in his first start in an environment like that and the team eventually just fades in the second half. I can't get the images of that one game in Iowa City out of my head.......the one where our backup had to come in because Clifford got hurt (I think Robeson was the kid's name?) and he was completely overwhelmed and the game turned into a total sh&t-show. I could be messing up some details but yeah, you get the gist. As always, I hope to be wrong!
  3. Congrats man, that’s the good stuff right there. Cherish every moment.
  4. Low of 39. National high of 99 at Rio Grande Village, TX and low of 9 near Bonanza, UT.
  5. I just read his last post from back in March and it damn near brought a tear to me eye. Sadly, I fear he may no longer be with us. Very much hope to be wrong.
  6. Low of 39. Looks like the @Blizzard of 93 540 line makes an appearance over the Commonwealth next week. #WinterIsComing
  7. Yeah we would have been around a foot with the northwest harrisburg folk about half that, sounds like a classic Nor'easter cutoff. Who knows, they may have made out better than us if the sleet line crept in from the southeast haha.
  8. Low of 53 with .81” of rain, for a 3-day total of 1.04” of glorious slow-soaking rainfall. Everything looking nice and green.
  9. Low of 55 with .07” of rain. I am not in favor of a Rhule hire, would prefer Manny over him. But really I just prefer a wide open search to explore all avenues, and I think that’s what they’ll do. They need someone who can carry his weight schematically. Enough of the Mickey Mouse stuff on offense, scheme an actual passing game and actually develop a quarterback. There’s no more hoarding of talent with everyone getting paid and moving around. Must find an edge on the whiteboard. The rest of this season will likely be a sh$t show, but I’ll still watch ha. Onward.
  10. Low of 56 with .16” of rain. Regardless of amounts, the grass will love these conditions.
  11. It surely will be, and we will all handle it like mature adults haha.
  12. Home from the Poconos. Looks like my low last night was 36. Also never reported my final tally from Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, which was .47”.
  13. Up here in the Poconos for a couple days with the kids. Brisk weather and some nice fall color up here.
  14. Low of 66. Raining too heavy to check the gauge before leaving this morning but I would guess about .4” out there. Looks like the Harrisburg folks cashed in nicely, good to see. Now we get chilly.
  15. 62 when I left the house. Some much needed rain tonight followed by a stretch of seasonably cool weather. Onward.
  16. Like most divorces, it may be messy and painful but it is needed. Time to pull the bandaid off. I take no glee in saying that. It just feels inevitable at this point.
  17. MDT ended September with a mean temp of 70.2, good for 13th warmest all-time.
  18. Low of 60. Completely exhausted from this past weekend, being up at Penn State and the emotional roller coaster that ensued, then Green Bay getting a tie last night, with both games going into the wee hours. I’m shot. At least the upcoming weather looks delightful.
  19. What a beautiful day in Happy Valley. About to lose all service. Incredible scene up here. Go State!
