  1. You know it’s humid when even a T’storm rolling through can’t drop the temp below 80. About a tenth of an inch here.
  2. Yeah there's been some heavy hints in the modeling for a while now that the first week of August could be on the cool or comfortable side. Don't think anyone would complin about that. I'm sure the heat will return not too long after that.
  3. Wild game. That homer Harper hit to go back-to-back with Schwarber was a BOMB.
  4. Low of 67 with the heat and humidity making a return.
  5. Very nice, looks like a cool little spot. Always nice to escape the heat up that way. Go another 10-15 miles north and you'd be at my buddy's cabin. Have fun! Congrats on the grandson! That has to be so exciting to get to relive those phases of life. The years really do fly by, still can't believe ours are already 3 and 5. It's amazing and sad all at the same time watching them grow up. It just swells your heart.
  6. 65/64 when I left the house. A solid summer day on tap before we start to bring back the heat and humidity.
  7. 60 when I left the house with a DP of 56 and one McDonalds breakfast. Glorious.
  8. Low of 66 with a rounded-up .01" of scattered big drops. A nice dry week ahead, cool to start and hot to finish. National high of 117 at Death Valley and Stovepipe Wells, CA and low of 32 at Foxpark, WY. Carry on.
  9. Low of 74 with a wicked humid day on tap before a beautiful few days settle in. Looks like end of the week may bring some real deal heat. Onward.
  10. Yep, going to be glorious. We'll be on the river tomorrow.
  11. Low of 71 with .68” of rain. My grass is out of control, been impossible to find a time to fit a mow in around my schedule.
  12. I was in East Petersburg all evening visiting a friend, with just light to moderate rain. Will give a full report from KMJS in the morning. But certainly nothing crazy, thank god.
  13. It sure looks like that weak batch out in front will help limit the severe. Welcomed news if it pans out that way.
  14. Yeah my buddy said he had the tiniest bit of heavy rain near Marietta Avenue and it immediately started running everywhere, ground just has no tolerance for it around us. Hope it's a not a bad scene later and the storms move through in a quick manner.
  15. There are sure to be some rogue stragglers, which could absolutely pack a quick punch, but I was speaking more to the main cluster. Things do usually move in quicker than guidance suggests though.
  16. Everything I've looked at seems to be pointing towards a later in the evening type event, like possibly even well after sunset.
  17. Low of 72 with no rain, thankfully. Spent last evening helping a buddy cleanup his property. Now we see what fun today brings.
  18. I'm officially at 26.5" since May 1st and 35.07" YTD.
  19. Low of 72 with 4.04” of rainfall. Pleasantly surprised to see the trains running smoothly this morning. I agree with @Jns2183 about the lightning bugs being plentiful this year. The kids were catching loads of ‘em out at Codorus this past weekend.
  20. All good here, despite getting nearly 4”, but have some friends in the Mount Joy area dealing with some pretty significant issues.
