  1. Yep I was thinking of you. Only a few hundredths here too, but a nice ground wetter. The real stuff has all just missed by a couple miles. Lots of lightning just to my south. More importantly, how you feeling pal?
  2. Not particularly, only isolated chances. The real show arrives overnight. With that said, I’m caught in a nice narrow band over here that’s dropping a steady rain and barely moving, a pretty unique radar presentation.
  3. Low of 52. Need to sneak a mow in somehow today.
  4. Low of 54 and .54” of daily rainfall. Yes those numbers are correct ha.
  5. Looks like a little over a half inch here at home from today’s storms.
  6. I can see it now on mobile. Had the same thing earlier down by my house. I’m up in Harrisburg today and you’re right, it’s wild how much stuff has stayed just east of the city. More on the way though, great coverage to our south. Quite the active day down here as the ULL spins over us.
  7. Heck yeah but so far everything seems to be juuuuuust to my west. Some serious Training going on in eastern Dauphin Co.
  8. Low of 61 and .03” of rain mainly from a brief afternoon shower yesterday, as most everything missed our area just to the west. I expect more widespread coverage over my area later today into tonight.
  9. A baby-nado, if you will. It's funny, we were driving down 222 back from the Poconos right around that time and weren't far from that location when I pointed out to my wife what looked to be a nasty little cell. Sure enough.
  10. EFO tornado confirmed yesterday afternoon down here in Lancaster County near Denver. About as small as you'll see though, only on the ground for a single minute, with a path width of only 10 yards and a path length of a tenth of a mile.
  11. Low of 62 and a 3-day rain total of exactly 1.50”. Grass is looking lush.
  12. A nice little bowed line just passed through here near Arrowhead Lake in the Poconos. Feels glorious up here.
  13. I just got done mowing as well. Love the greenery this time of year. I had to get a mow in because we’re heading up to the Poconos with the kids tomorrow and who knows when they’ll be an opportunity to mow next week.
  14. Low of 50. Modeling all coming around to the Euro's idea of a days long period of rain and clouds induced by a hovering ULL next week. Would be great for the grass, ground, trees, and most importantly, shrubbery.
  15. April looks to end up nestled in between 2021 and 1959 for 18th warmest all-time.
  16. Happening as we speak. The walk through Harrisburg this morning felt quite nice with the drying northwest winds already kicking up.
  17. A muggy low of 67 here. No rain at all at my place but once I got a couple miles into my drive the roads were wet. Dew points should drop like a rock today. A beautiful couple days ahead before the rain arrives.
  18. Man, the Euro wants to keep an ULL parked over the eastern US all next week and just dump on us for days on end. Far from any type of model consensus, as solutions run the gamut, but has shown up in varying forms on other runs. Verbatim would lead to the 10-day totals shown below. Something to keep an eye on as we move towards the weekend.
  19. 53 at the house and 46 through the rurals. Beautiful days ahead.
  20. Haha great, still learning how to properly inhale but we’ll get there. In all seriousness, my wife did a great job putting together a cops and pops (lollipop) theme for the two of them. Some sort of deal where our little girl was the robber and stole all the lollipops and our son was the cop trying to catch her. You know, the kind of thing wives thrive at and love to do. She really hit it out of the park though by contacting the West Hempfield Police and getting them to stop by the party. As you can imagine, the kids loved it haha. They all got to sit in the car and flick the lights and hear the sirens and whatnot. It was a big hit. Got to hand it to my lady, she nailed it.
  21. Congrats! I’m with ya. We are headed up to the Poconos with the kids. Have a close eye on this weekend’s weather, which seems a bit up in the air at this point as far as timing and such.
  22. Low of 42. Did tons of mulching and other landscaping yesterday and let's just say my back is feeling it.
  23. Low of 45 with .42” of precip over here. Gonna brave the wind today and refill and seed a bunch of holes that the dogs have dug.
