    I lived in central Delaware at the time....unreal how much snow we got, pretty sure I have more snow in that year than I did in the next 5 combined. Crazy thing was, how fast all of that snow melted. That first snow in December, pretty sure I had 32", it was completely gone by Christmas, including most of the piles

    Well the 12z Euro would be wonderful if it were January, but mid October that is brutal....Especially with the weather we have dealt with recently.

    Going to be close here tonight, already down to 45° and the winds have gone calm..... at this point I would assume 32-35 by sunrise. Kill some mosquitoes please! Please leave my Dhalias go, they have just started another round of flowering

    My desert like region has all but dried out, but other areas such as the parks and sports fields around here are still ponds/swamps, breeding mosquitoes. We need a freeze and some dry weather, no precip until November please....unless of course that is a precursor to a snowless winter, then by all means rain away

    Mosquitoes just exploded from everywhere, worst it has been all season....ready for a frost/freeze

    They can't keep canceling the kids baseball and soccer, at this point they will be rescheduled for the Spring....

    Second that...decided to head to Kartrite, over here in the Catskills, should be a fun ride tomorrow afternoon. Really hate wasting all of this precip before winter...

    as we speak, Mostert with 4 TDs today....this rushing attack is quite impressive. Hope he stays healthy too

    Being a fan for this long, I fully expect the bottom to fall out at some point. But they have been exciting with Tua at QB, he just needs some protection. Next week is the first true test...

    I have been waiting for a while, well since I was 5 years old for the Dolphins to look like they do this year...Hopefully Tua/Hill can stay healthy this year, if so watch out!

    Then into early next week looks cool and unsettled right now as this thing looks to meander around with onshore flow.... need that high pressure to push in and clear everything out

    Thanks, yeah I have definitely had a terrible string of vacations recently that have had terrible weather. Needless to say I am quite hesitant in spending a ton of money to sit inside with 4 kids...

    we are pretty much waiting until the last minute to book, but initial thoughts on next week, in New England? Is this thing over the weekend going to get cutoff, making for a miserable/dreary week?

    I started mine a couple years ago, now they are popping up everywhere. At this point, might be too much of a good thing. The hummingbirds love them though....

    More like fishing/kayaking....I would probably take my wetsuit and ride a few waves, but not sure the kids would spend much time in the water whether it was a lake or the ocean. We have always done beach trips, Delaware to Hatteras so we always had warmer water.
