    92/75 here, before noon is pretty impressive. Even with some clouds over head it just feels 'hot' out there

    If this continues to backbuild....but the rates aren't what they were last year, so I doubt it. My friend up in the Purchase has over 3 inches already, I'm pushing 2 so far and it is pouring again. The amount of flash flooding around the country over the past few weeks has been unreal. It doesn't just rain anymore, amounts are pushing what we would see for snowfall totals in the winter.

    These little pop up storms mean business, half an inch in like 15 minutes....every time the sun breaks through, more pop up.

    But someone posted a little while ago that the back of summer was going to be broken, in the middle of July....Lol, this summer may just continue through September. I did see Halloween stuff show up at our local BJs and Costco this week. Next up will be school supplies, didn't take long for them to shove summer to the side. I am one who will turn the a/c off and open the windows at any possible chance, but it has been non stop now for weeks. Ready for at least a break in the humidity.

    interesting how we had FFWatches yesterday, but nothing for tonight....Seems like there is at least an equal chance of flooding rains tonight into tomorrow as there was last night, maybe I am missing something?

    amazing how awful the hrrr has been so far today, most recent run has nothing in CT until after 2z.....

    I was outside in the torrential tropical rains and noticed how it was still in the 80s while it was raining....not sure I really remember that happening around here, although I am sure it has....I thought it was impressive at least. High only reached 85 yesterday, almost 87 already with a dewpoint, 76....

    I did not really believe the 80⁰ dewpoints, but KOXC was at 82⁰ last hour....unreal

    I see via satellite that this giant pinwheel is keeping us from the wildfire smoke, for now....Hope it stays that way

    Odd weather down here....feels like we went through the 'eye' of the storm, winds went calm, sun came out. Now we are getting into the 'SW quadrant' with heavy rains and pretty gusty too

    The wind this year has been notable....if it weren't for the leaves, I could have mistaken last night for November or even February. I'm sure a switch will be flipped and it will suddenly be summer. But right now and what is coming on Thursday is not very second half of May-like. On the other hand, thankfully we had the wind over night, otherwise my 40.5⁰ low this morning would have radiated to at least 30⁰, destroying my fruit trees and berries.

    Another mid 30s temp this morning.....35.6⁰, doesn't seem to be any frost though.

    Similar here, 4.35" total so far....2.83" over the last 24 hrs We needed that here, now hopefully it doesn't forget how to rain for the next few months and we should be ok

    33.3⁰ this morning, enough of this garbage now....the house got down to 62⁰ too

    Got down to 35.8⁰.....could tell last night that it was going to drop pretty good. Had that crisp feel to the air. Hopefully the coldest we will see until September, but somehow I doubt that.

    74 with partly cloudy skies, we take.....Sunday looks horrible. Of course they decided to move my kid's baseball game from tomorrow afternoon to Sunday night, I think I would prefer to dodge some showers over what we will have Sunday night

    Returned from the Florida Keys early this afternoon. This weather is brutal, even worse from a week in almost perfection....Despite the sun this evening, the breeze makes it even worse, hope we are past this and looking forward to better weather

    Well, the hope that escaping to the Keys for this week and coming back to nice weather is off the table...80/71 currently, good luck this week, I will be joining the misery on Sunday

    Lock in the east coast ridge after the 4th, we will be in the Keys, so I am sure it will find a way to bake in the early season down there. My unacclimated children will complain how hot it is the whole time and not want to go anywhere but the A/C....
