  1. You are close to me then. You will definitely see a lot more frozen action up here. Its also very windy year round as well. Hopefully we have a white winter.
  2. It IS gusty up this way this morning. What part of the ridge are you now live on?
  3. question here....I see a praying mantis on the screen of my front window. Looks like a female getting ready to lay eggs. Should I move it to the bush where I normally see the egg cases, leave it be, or wait until tomorrow and move her if she is still there. Not trying to mess with Mother Nature, but just wanted to see if I am worrying about something that I shouldn't.
  4. Low of 25.7. My daughter didn't wear a jacket to the bus stop and wore one of those shirts which has the stomach hanging out under an unbuttoned flannel. If she complains about it being cold...so be it. You can only fight some battles.
  5. I have not read the books either but wanted to check it out tonight. Everyone is out but me and the dog. :-) I also heard that the WItcher is coming out with Season 2 next month. Also, if you haven't yet watched Good Omens, Its a decent show as well. Its British, but extremely witty.
  6. Harrell has really brought some life to the team. I agree with you in that i'm waiting for the wheels to fall off, but I really think this is a different team. Dinwiddie wants to prove a point to the whole East that he is one of the top point guards. Kuzma should play better now that he is out of LA and the spotlight. KCP is a defensive gemwho should help shut down opponents top player. Beal is happy having help this year, and it will make him better since you can't always double him with the other threats on the court. I'm not saying that they are primed to make a run for the Championship, but it is a good positive feeling about this team and their future. Now, if we can only bring back the name.
  7. No clouds here and a brisk 29.1 on the therm.
  8. Reminds me of Kenny Fukkin Powers!
  9. I have used Zoom, WebEx and MS Teams for everything from company based meetings to those across the my entire industry, I'd agree that Zoom is probably the easiest to use.
  10. the ducks are having a great time!
  11. Had a planned "couples" trip to Bethany this weekend. Heading down this afternoon around 3:00. Hope to see some nice gusts this evening. Hopefully it's not too bad tomorrow since we have a tee time at 12:55.
  12. Last night in Eldersburg My daughter thought the same. It was just very light drizzle/mist. The qind gusts made it look which looked like flurries by the way it was falling.
  13. Yes....yesterday was miserable.
  14. We can only hope. They have such a deep team this year. I definitely expect them to make the playoffs...Its just how they will stack up against Philly, Brooklyn and Milwaukee. Oh...I forgot about Atlanta too.
  15. The question is......How long do I wait until I cave into my wife and daughter and turn on the heat? :-)
  16. They probably won't. I only wonder what other skeletons we would find if they were released though.....
  17. Wow. Talk about possibly throwing Snyder to the wolves. Maybe this is the only way they feel they can get rid of him.....by forcing him to sell the team based on public outcry? You know there has to be some really juicy stuff being released.
  18. Briefly peeked out here. Back to cloudy and depressing.
  19. Can we just rename it to Charlie Sheen?
  20. I had the famous poster on my bedroom wall. I think I was 4 or 5....what were my parents thinking?
  21. Ha! Had the biggest crush on Heather Locklear back in those days until she she hooked up with Tommy Lee.
  22. I totally agree. I was listening to the game on the radio and Ayenbadejyo made a good point. If you are that close and realize that the record can be tied, you are doing it to pay respect to all of the players who contributed towards it. It is a 40 year old record and to not try to extend it would be crazy with how close they were.
  23. It actually wasn't bad. I was with season ticket holders, so they had the padded stadium seats on the aluminum bench, which made sitting there easier. I will say that there were many, many older fans there....like 70+ years old...and they all had seats near the field. It was painful watching them try to make it back up the stairs to the main concourse level though and they need to figure out how to make it a better experience for them since I assume they are all generational alumni who will always have those seats in the family. The brand new scoreboard made it's debut and was really nice.
