  1. I was lucky enough to pull the trifecta of a bye in each of my 3 leagues. That almost never happens. I have a combo of Kupp, Adams, Ekler, Brady and Henderson on 2 of the three teams which has been very nice. I also lucked out with free agent additions like Moore and Guyton (this past weekend) at opportune times througout the season. I'll never have a year a good as this one. Good luck to you both in the playoffs!
  2. Take care of yourself and rest up.
  3. Same here. Happy for you and your new bride and good luck to your father!
  4. I'm happy that both of you are able to enjoy the evening sky now. It is really amazing how much light pollution exists until you are able to get away from it. My neighborhood has the amber street lights, but if you walk to the middle of the park across the street, or look up from the deck behind the house and it's a great view. Enjoy!
  5. I saw something similar the other morning as well, but a bigger return on the radar. I thought birds too...
  6. I think so. Didn't Canada beat someone in the qualifying round in the past month in the snow?
  7. how did your other events go? Hopefully your coach doesn't put you there again. :-)
  8. I hate to say it this way without sounding like a cliché, but just take it one event at a time. Focus on your your race plan at the start of each race and then reset when getting ready for the next one. One track meet a long, long time ago, I had to fill in for the 3200 relay, then run the hurdles next. It wasn't that bad, but I know that swimming is a lot different. Good luck and let us know how you do.
  9. Those pictures bring back the memories......My paper route was along good old Maiden Lane. :-)
  10. A distance swimmer, that is. The highlight didn't quote properly.
  11. I had a friend who got a senior discount without on a meal...and they are not yet of age. Talk about a kill joy....you see the discount and then read what it's for. :-)
  12. Exactly! Set the bar really low, that way when our expectations are more than met, we can be happy :-)
  13. You are close to me then. You will definitely see a lot more frozen action up here. Its also very windy year round as well. Hopefully we have a white winter.
  14. It IS gusty up this way this morning. What part of the ridge are you now live on?
  15. question here....I see a praying mantis on the screen of my front window. Looks like a female getting ready to lay eggs. Should I move it to the bush where I normally see the egg cases, leave it be, or wait until tomorrow and move her if she is still there. Not trying to mess with Mother Nature, but just wanted to see if I am worrying about something that I shouldn't.
  16. Low of 25.7. My daughter didn't wear a jacket to the bus stop and wore one of those shirts which has the stomach hanging out under an unbuttoned flannel. If she complains about it being cold...so be it. You can only fight some battles.
  17. I have not read the books either but wanted to check it out tonight. Everyone is out but me and the dog. :-) I also heard that the WItcher is coming out with Season 2 next month. Also, if you haven't yet watched Good Omens, Its a decent show as well. Its British, but extremely witty.
  18. Harrell has really brought some life to the team. I agree with you in that i'm waiting for the wheels to fall off, but I really think this is a different team. Dinwiddie wants to prove a point to the whole East that he is one of the top point guards. Kuzma should play better now that he is out of LA and the spotlight. KCP is a defensive gemwho should help shut down opponents top player. Beal is happy having help this year, and it will make him better since you can't always double him with the other threats on the court. I'm not saying that they are primed to make a run for the Championship, but it is a good positive feeling about this team and their future. Now, if we can only bring back the name.
  19. No clouds here and a brisk 29.1 on the therm.
  20. Reminds me of Kenny Fukkin Powers!
  21. I have used Zoom, WebEx and MS Teams for everything from company based meetings to those across the my entire industry, I'd agree that Zoom is probably the easiest to use.
