This damp, warm, still, overcast weather is crap. I'm getting eaten up by mosquitoes trying to stack firewood. My neighbor the street over is still running his loud ass pool pump for crying out loud.

How do you interpret that as such a negative stat? The temp is only 0.1F above seasonal average and snow is only 1.5" below seasonal average.

It seems to imply that unless you live along the gulf coast it doesn't really matter, at least not for us. I have a good feeling about this winter.

I agree, euro at d13 is like a laser freight train for accuracy. Even DC gets in on the action with 0.1". Might top last winter before we even get out of October.

It's not possible for this winter to be worse than last winter. If it's any warmer than last year then I can enjoy the outdoors better and wear shorts for the entire year. Maybe even garden. It couldn't possibly snow less than last year since you can't have negative snow. So I'm looking forward to it, I predict some solid cold.

It's out of control down here. When I come home from work in the evening I have to step out of my car and walk down my driveway before I drive down to scare off all the frogs and toads camped out on it. All this humidity has made them drunk on power.

I remember 2005, it was the first full year moving here from Michigan. I was all pumped because of noreasters and dreams of annual big snowstorms like I'd always seen on the news as a child. Those first few years we had some big noreaster rainstorms in the winter and even a few decent snows. Those were the days.

Bastardi is all over a cold start to winter. With december anomalies below avg based on his analog pkgs. Not sure how I should hedge that.
