  1. Ahhh. 96.3 °F Feels Like 120.0 °F Dew Point: 82 °F Will be interesting to see if DCA can get that kick off the river and get the downslope/Crystal City warmth.
  2. Martin, Annapolis, and Pax river all with DPs of 80 or above as of 11am.
  3. 91/79. Nope. Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope.
  4. 78/77 at home. One of those slap in the face mornings where I start sweating the moment I step outside.
  5. 91.6/76. Not going to make an upper 90s run, but full-on summer.
  6. It depends on what your baseline is. The GFS is wrong, so don't use that. Otherwise, the forecast isn't really that special (95,97,95 near DCA). The mitigating factor in the DC area is that we've been so wet. That hasn't been the case in New England.
  7. The lightning strikes are winding down which is good news. The best VILs are also sagging south. However the most active area is now NW sinking toward the area. Hopefully we see that area disrupted before it gets close to EC.
  8. That is just an awful radar look for that area. Hope it stops backbuilding soon.
  9. Two PWS stations with 7.7” in or near Catonsville.
  10. We've reached the beautiful time of year where the grass is growing faster than the weeks, and I can fool myself into thinking that this is the year that my lawn won't look like crap by August.
  11. I think it is a bit of a CYA. In theory you could see a weak QLCS-type tornado in the right conditions.
  12. It is one of my most sadistic joys of life - watching people without umbrellas scramble in heavy rain.
  13. If we could only save this rain for later in the summer. 0.68" in the last 25 min, 0.80" on the day.
  14. I’m just N of Scranton PA. Fun clouds, but I’m north of the tor warnings.
  15. Did better in the rain department with the overnight cells than the squall line. 2.08” total. 3”+ over the last three days.
  16. Wind was probably better down by Woodbridge. Mostly rain and lightning here. Gutters are clogged and now I have a pool of water near the foundation, which is what you always want.
  17. The sounding is on Wyoming’s site. http://www.weather.uwyo.edu/cgi-bin/sounding?region=naconf&TYPE=GIF%3ASKEWT&YEAR=2018&MONTH=05&FROM=1412&TO=1500&STNM=72403
  18. RUC (maybe HRRR, not labeled well) via our new favorite Euro site
  19. I'm driving up to NY state for work tomorrow. So, they'll probably get screwed and it'll hit here. You're welcome.
  20. Yeah, I have to get on something like that.
  21. Thanks. Yeah, we have two 4x8’, one 4x4’, one 2x8 (raspberry bushes), and two 2x4’. It is pretty convenient.
