  1. Not me, no more daily masks. If Sorry Charlie goes there again count me out this time. I was a good boy last time, and with the numbers on this new variant that I've seen so far I'm far less concerned than the first time around
  2. She's the best. Cuts through the B.S. vs fact. I know a couple vaxxed people to test positive. They are fine, the debate seems how likely they are to spread it. If more got vaxxed, innoculated, whatever we wouldn't have these concerns...
  3. Yes. She says that's the one wildcard difference but not sure how much of an issue that is yet.
  4. Well if that's the case, it's good for business. The more genny installs the better.
  5. From what my Dr. tells me, you can be vaxxed and test positive if exposed. She says that's normal and it works the same with other illnesses. Doesn't mean you're sick.
  6. Allowing the possibility of tropical impact?
  7. Probably not, because it's not covered in whats called the media
  8. We went through this last summer with our electrical business. Try telling the guys they have to wear a mask, working in the sun on a 95 degree day. NOT going to happen. There were some...interesting conversations with some customers to say the least.
  9. Western Mass and CT are loaded with NY plates also. Just up the hill in Blandford (great town for snow) It's like every third house has a NY plate... and they've brought their terrible driving habits!
  10. Agreed. And I think we need to get to the point where we don't worry about the non vaxxed. Not saying that to be an ass, just tired of certain peoples excuses when they don't have a logical reason not to. Of course with the vile skills and blustering B.S. our general media have developed, we'll probably be back in masks asap
  11. I will admit, some of them were decent looking especially being such economical transport. I almost bought a 1988 Z24 version back in the day. One of my favorites was the Beretta. My mom had one, it was a blast to drive and incredible in the snow.
  12. At least someone likes them. I have a few customers with them. I just can't get over the lack of style...they look like a large chevy cavalier, and so much crappy plastic. Plus quite a number of quality/reliability issues.
  13. A Corvette beater by far at that time! That o to 60 is in Hellcat territory. BTW if any of you like cars, try a Hellcat even if not a Mopar fan. Insane! Its almost impossible to lift your head off the head rest.
  14. Working in the electric industry, that's what we call the dirty little secret no one wants to talk about. The grid in many areas isn't anywhere near capable of even 60 percent electric and the improvements will take decades in many areas. There's also the problem of pollution and enviro issued due to manufacture and use of an E.V. People really should look this up before pushing EV too much yet. I'd love a new VW electric cargo bus for my business...but don't want one personally at least at this point. For half the people I know electric is a fasion statement moreso than an environmental issue unfortunately.
  15. Funny, we still use those terms with certain dimmers and dimming systems. I wonder if Leviton has changed terminology in their directions. Sad, but they probably have...
  16. I'll get you one later when I get home. The nice thing with the new one is the ease of installing. Its wicked easy to remove the guts and mount just the outer frame first saving great wear and tear on myself and the cheap ass replacement windows from the previous owners. It's a Frigidair from P.C. Richards. Not investing in something like this from a big box!
  17. Same. This morning I was just admiring the fresh cut from yesterday. Probably need to be cut again by Saturday...
  18. Yeah, drugs are bad mmmmkay. Just before Betty Ford in '86
  19. Hey thanks for posting that. I was just about to search for one. We just replaced the old 13000 btu unit with a new 15000. What a difference and it runs nearly half as much...but weighs a ton!
  20. And the VW meet at the Frog Rock rest stop Maybe we can sneek in mid day before the storms but looking unlikely
  21. $tevie wouldn't like that lol. This weather makes me feel how she looks...but I bet she was feeling a hell of a lot better than me
  22. Exactly, thank you. Its so simple to understand but shrouded in so much b.s.
  23. Same here. Its interesting to see where people are wearing masks at this point. In my circle there has been practically no mask wearing all along unless in a store obviously. Most of us are all vaccinated now. Feeling much better now than earlier today. The stiffness and fever has pretty much gone. Surprised how quickly its cleared up
  24. I'm hoping I'll be fine tomorrow although it's Friday and I really need a day off so...
