  1. I ran out to get more beer earlier today. It was an absolute madhouse.
  2. I really like the Eastern Shore for this one. They are gonna get the best of both parts imo. But not enough difference for me to head down there. Plus the snow will stick around longer out here in the Mountains. But Cambridge or Salisbury look to get it good.
  3. JMA was south by the way since you asked earlier. https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/analysis/models/?model=jma&region=us&pkg=apcpn&runtime=2025010412&fh=96
  4. Ravens having some guys go down at a bad time. Flowers and Hamilton are big losses for them. Hope that doesnt happen tomorrow to my Commanders.
  5. Surface low still bouncing around a little bit. But definitely ticked north. Good run.
  6. 18Z HerpaDerp is south. We might be in trouble.
  7. Whoever wrote it is very good at hitting on the science, for us weenies that want it, while making it easily readable for the general public. Excellent write up.
  8. thats for later. A couple hours before bed.
  9. I gotta stop day drinking. These models are making me lose my shit.
  10. Yeah. ICON way better. Ticked north just a touch. baby steps.
  11. ICON maybe 30 miles north with the vort at 36. Think it will be a better run.
  12. I think maybe its because of the shape of the precip field heading into the event? You have snow from Central Kansas to Central VA on this map.
  13. Wouldnt want to be a southern VA met right now. Your forecast would have to be anything from rain to 15 inches of snow.
  14. Ji and Yacht Rock. That is a dangerous combo I think.
  15. Northern crew will like the NAM as well. NOVA/DC fighting the sleet line.
  16. Anything over 8 inches is a pain in the ass now that I am an old man. Pretty nasty warning for the southern Shen Valley. up to 5 inches with a half inch of ice on top. Glacier maker according to their mets. ...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON SUNDAY TO 7 PM EST MONDAY... * WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 5 inches and ice accumulations up to four tenths of an inch.
  17. Its a beatdown. It has a nasty dryslot and drives the primary up into central WV. But this is right at that point. No clue what it would do with the ULL after this. But a serious hit on the front end. And should make the northern crew feel a little better.
  18. 18Z HRRR is beautiful. Snow and 19 degrees out here.
  19. Cant remember the last time I had a squall drop a half inch that didnt melt within a few hours. Nice going into the next event with snow already on the ground.
  20. I honestly dont know how anyone can panic about 4 inches of cold powder that will be on the ground for weeks. Also with another threat just days away after this one. We have a chance at a historic January here.
  21. I think next weekends event ends up a bomb for you guys. Would be nice to get the entire East Coast buried by the end of the month.
  22. FV3 is my soulmate. Still a ways to go snowfall wise after this too.
