    It just jumps a little too late for us on the Euro. Still in the game though.

    I dont have access to the 51 panel at 12z on the Euro. But it is still closed off at 48 then open at 54. Seems to be in the middle of the GFS/UK.

    Euro stays closed off longer than the UK. But not as long as the GFS. Probably the happy medium?

    I am up in Winchester. So I am not out of the game. But I would certainly prefer a combo of the Euro/UK over the American models. I think you all are sitting pretty to be honest. And glad for the southern Shenandoah Valley. You guys are due.

    Also at 51 the GFS is closed off at 500 in KY and the UK is not. So the GFS is trying to drive the surface low north. The UK is not. Crazy the difference this close to the event.

    GFS has the surface low in southern WV. The UK has it in northern SC. They are worlds apart. And one is going to bust badly.

    It seems to me to be a 4-8 type storm if we are being realistic. Maybe some double digit spots. But this isnt a super juiced up bomb.

    UKIE is a nice run. Precip max still south of town. But it juiced up this run.

    Train of vorts on the southern stream for mid month. Could be an epic January.

    I would think in those positions we would see some phasing going on. The GFS gets it done. But if we can get some interaction between the vorts we have a chance for a big dog.

    If the Euro stays south I dont envy the Mets job at all. I mean I guess you can just go with a 4-8 type call. And then up it if necessary. I think we all see at least 4 inches though.
