  1. 12z suite got me off the bench and into the bullpen. 12z Gefs mean is pure gold for Leo and I. #NovaScotiaStrong
  2. Yeah regardless on whether it touches any of us, that was a lot of model correction pretty close in. Not a good showing of the models frankly. #NovaScotiaStrong
  3. Yeah keeping an eye on this one. Sneaky potential. Right now it’s swing and a miss but it’s been trending closer. A few more adjustments and I might get into the decent snows as well as the Cape at least. #NovaScotiaStrong
  4. Difficult to get anything substantial from s/w's diving down from Timmins, ON. They can't turn the corner.
  5. Nope. No Phase = No Bueno. Otherwise it's a southern low with no cold air to work with. It's rain with some catpaws at the beginning and maybe at the end. I'd rather punt it and save the snow on the ground for Christmas.
  6. Sloppy phase will screw most of us out of what could have been a decent snow event. Grinch is still in play.
  7. Paitience grasshopper. We watch for now. #NovaScotiaStrong
  8. That system crawling up the coast on the 22-23rd ish is showing subtle signs it wants to be more of a player than just wide right. it's be creeping closer each run. Might not amount to anything though.
  9. Weird weather week wrapping up here. Thunderstorms on Sunday. Foot of snow Wednesday night and now thunderstorms again. Never seen it transition like this before. Strange twists. Bye bye snow. #NovaScotiaStrong
  10. I could have stood a few ticks west as the real meat was just off to my east. Would’ve put some of you in the game. I was hoping it would but never did make the adjustment. You guys will get the next. #NovaScotiaStrong
  11. Late to the party. Ended up being a nice snowstorm here. Started around 9pm and was over 12hrs later. First one footer of the season. I know it will be gone soon but nice start to the stats. #NovaScotiaStrong
  12. My gut tells me this torch is muted somewhat. The more north and east you are, the better. Could be mild in New England, somewhat normal in the Maritimes, and down right chilly in Newfoundland. The cold air is lurking and maybe we get backdoored sort of speak.
  13. Yes that is in cms. So 16” in Yarmouth to 10 out east. Environment Canada always goes a little conservative but a foot is possible if everything comes together in my opinion. #NovaScotiaStrong
  14. Lol. Not quite. 6-10” is the official call. Solid snowstorm for the start of the season. Nothing crazy. #NovaScotiaStrong
  15. Shaping up to be a classic Nova Scotia crusher. Didn’t expect one so early but I’ll take what I can get. Maybe I’ll have a crusty snow patch left for Christmas. #NovaScotiaStrong
  16. Solid warning event here if guidance holds with death band tantalizing close. Another tick or two west and double digits might be attainable.
  17. GFS not backing down. Thought it would move east. All other guidance seems to be trending more offshore. #NovaScotiaStrong
  18. Crush job on the 18z gfs. Still a lots of time but that would be fun. I can remember a few winters up this way where the first storm of the season ended up being the biggest of the winter. #NovaScotiaStrong
  19. Shame the pattern goes to kaka after this system but we know that's going to happen (or pretty sure). Focus on one storm at a time. Get some numbers on the board.
  20. Blended guidance is a decent hit for a lot of folks. Adds a bit more confidence. Hope this one doesn't fade
  21. Can’t wait for the 2021 version of “A Christmas Cutter” Nothing more festive than eggnog and thongs. #NovaScotiaStrong
  22. Was an active run of the GFS. Threats with frequent cool/cold shots. Sign me up even if nothin pans out. That's a tasty look.
  23. Pattern did set up a snower just not for most of us. Congrats Nick. Looks like about half a foot on picture. Nice start. #NovaScotiaStrong
