  1. I totally agree. We're in the winners circle with even 1-3" at this point of the early season
  2. Im not sure I would trust this for CT. It showed a snow hole with not much precip through the state. All we need is a subtle placement change for the new low, and, we will get more snow in the state. Patience my friends. I do believe we will be getting more than modeled. The precip should be more robust once Monday comes along.
  3. Thanks man. I snap shot the one I posted. I'll admit.. It looked horrible.. Lol
  4. So.. The UKMET brings me back into the 12" range. Didn't someone mention it has done a good job so far with this storm. It definitely came south.
  5. Good to see some slight trends back south and east on models. My gut is it will trend a bit more and get Connecticut back to a solid 5-10/6-12 for most of central and northern CT. Especially Monday afternoon and night.
  6. Well.. 4"-8" is nothing to shake a stick at for December 1-2. Yes... It kind of is a let down when they had the bigger Snows into most of CT. Could it shift east slightly at the last second? Maybe. But, if that happens, we will only be surprised and excited for that shift. In the end... This is still a great way to get Snoe for the rest of the North East Region. There will be more, and , with this set up...we should have our turn in Southern New England. Im still excited for this one!
  7. Some of you guys are on here are seriously bullies. You don't know how to talk to people with any respect or candor. I'm fine..but, other people, especially the younger crowd might not be. So..think about that when you give your sarcastic remarks. If there are any moderators looking at some of the responses...maybe you can step in and say something. To you Dr. Dews, grow the hell up.
  8. Learn what? Lol I'm not a kid..haha. Probably older than you man
  9. Don't congratulate anyone as of yet. Still premature as some of these nunbers will change....especially in the battle zone areas of central CT into easterm mass.
  10. What does it show after Monday eve for Central/ northern CT? Also... I see some worrying about some of the warmth the Nam is showing..but..it is still 2-3 days out ( not in Nam's wheel house ), and..Nam can be a bit on the Warm Bias. I always remember Bernie Rayno saying... Don't get caught up in the windshield wipers effect a few days prior..lol
  11. Well.. For where I am about 18 miles west of Hartford.. The amounts for what I will see is almost exactly the same 12-14"
  12. Hey neighbor...plainville here. Hoping for the same. Up at about 500 ft. Not sure if that will play a role on all snow..or some mixing, but, for Defember first.. I'll take it for sure!
  13. I think your a bit too bullish with the sleet thing. Just my opinion ( well, also the GFS, Euro, Nam....ect )..lol I better add GEM to the list as well!!
  14. I wouldn't write this off for you man. The storm has been showing signs of stalling and that could bring you some more snow. Plus, models are staying to come into beret agreement ( both Euro & GFS )..which is a good thing
  15. Listen guys....this could easily go back to offshore. Let's give it some time. Hearts are breaking all over the place. Some of you talk about not get to caught up in the model runs, yet, here we go... " The threat is dead ", or " only a NNE special ". Is it not just Wednesday? We do have 5-6 days, right. I'm not deterred yet at all. Nor should any of you Nay sayers.
  16. Some of your guys are playing games. Your sarcasm is someone else's dig. Just be more mindful man. Thats all I am saying. Now lets talk Weather, shall we?
  17. He never said that.. I watched him tonight. What he said was the track is not set in stone, and a lot can happen between now and the weekend. He just wanted everybody prepared for the possibility of something because of the travel day back from the holiday. Also, he never said it's going to rain where you are. He didn't say rain in Southbury. He mentioned that add of right now..there is a chance of wintry precip. Let's keep it real man.
  18. Do you mean the Brad Field that used to be on wvit in Ct? If so, it was wonder where he went
  19. I can do without the heavy ice, but I love every other aspect of winter storms
  20. Hey man..im in Plainville... Up about 500 ft...rattlesnake mountain. We now have sleet and some cat paws here still mixed with rain.
  21. No..I'm not new. I usually just look and not say anything like this as I don't want to be to harsh on the kiddos..lol
  22. So, I see these posts of " what a waste of a storm because of no cold air " or " winter cancel ". First of all to November, and second of all, wouldn't you think with these nor'easters happening that we're setting ourselves up for this kind of pattern throughout the winter? I would think this is going to be a really good thing for us
