  1. 7:30. 1" on untreated roads. 1.5" on bare ground/grass/cars.
  2. 6:00. Untreated roads getting covered. About 1/3" OTG
  3. 5:30. Flipped to snow. Visibility down to 1/2" mile. Sticking to cars and cold surfaces
  4. If only this band I've been sitting under since 1:30 would start producing snow...
  5. Looking at KDIX CC band, you can see the rain/snow line crashing its way south/east
  6. Round 2 has started. 80/20% light rain/snow
  7. FL Panhandle is really going to have more snow on the ground than my backyard
  8. This really might just be a full rainstorm here, with a coat of slop to finish. What a rug pull down here.
  9. Hazard maybe not mentioned much tonight is freezing fog. Currently everything is covered in a thin glaze of ice. Cars, trees, road, etc.
  10. Can't make this up. Trended from just the extreme coast seeing the only snow tomorrow to it raining at the coast here instead.
  11. Surface temps are running a bit colder than modeled so far. Down to 28 here and I'm 1 mi away from the beach
  12. FGEN band location is going to determine the winner tomorrow. Some are going to be really happy, many others are going to be really sad.
  13. Got cold quick. Mid 40s to 33 in about an hour. Good sign for tomorrow. Plenty of cold aloft to bring down.
  14. 40-45 dbz returns knocking on my door. Still snow/graupel mix. 41.
  15. Light snow here in Toms River. Small flakes. 43 out.
  16. Notable trends west overnight. Euro OP still says no but should it cave west, will bring snow to the city. AI models holding strong. Wouldn't write anything off yet for those east of I-287 and US 202. Let's see how things evolve
  17. Wait for tonight/tomorrow's miss to get on out of here before taking any solutions for Sun/Mon seriously
  18. Get ready for Lucy to pull the football by tomorrow or Thursday
  19. Rinse, lather, repeat. Same thing will happen with the signal around the 20th.
  20. Zero interest in next week's system until today/tonight's system gets on out of here. Till then, it's flip-flop mania.
  21. Weenie sound-effect band over the North Fork. 0.5"/hour possible per the SWS. Somebody could wake up with a couple inches. Light snow falling here. Looks like it will continue for a little. Maybe another half inch or so by dawn
  22. Had about 3/4" from the squall. Enough to cover everything nicely. One of my younger cousins staying here for the holiday decided to take the go kart and drift it around the neighborhood. Starting the new year off great. Pissing off all the hungover neighbors
