    I feel the beach erosion along the NJ Shore is going to be a lot worse due to the more NNE wind component rather a more easterly one. Look at any of the beach webcams and that current is hauling north to south.

    Noticeable uptick in wind at the beach now. Feels a bit more NE/ENE vs NNE all day. Sustained 47, gusts to 57 mph out on Barnegat Inlet

    Currently about 0.5' above forecast at Barnegat Inlet. Gonna take a ride out to the barrier island later tonight for high tide, maybe ride the bike out at IBSP for tomorrow's high tide.

    In person university classes cancelled Monday. Repeat texts from sheriff's department and the township about this system tomorrow/Monday. Full on bread & milk mode from the officials

    Water levels already running about 0.5-0.75' above normal high tide at Sandy Hook & AC Steel Pier

    Still an onshore wind has been blowing for the last few days and will continue to do so as this system makes it's way here. Plenty of water already piled up along the coast.
