  1. Models tightening up on location now. Georgetown, SC has been the hot spot last few years.
  2. 6z GEFS looks like between CHS and MYR as maybe a TD note: RAH believes this will be a subtropical system

  10. it’s just an oddity because all of the small number of storms have found land it is objectively a quiet season so far when your point of measure is a predicted 25 named storms
  11. 12z Euro CMC and GFS with…. not much… through 10 days. Gets us to mid Sept.

  14. Think we may need to reposition focus from the MDR. There’s a little home grown deal consistently showing up on the OP GFS near Florida on Labor Day.

  17. The thing about October storms is they’re so much more likely to recurve with trough frequency picking up. So sure, fish watching could be good.

  19. Unless it’s a strong 4/5, Bermuda can handle the best of any island
  20. We’ve been naming ghost storms for the past 5 years.
