  1. I said days ago that if it made landfall at all, it would be cat 1 at best. So I’m not wrong.
  2. I told you all 2 days ago this would be a trash storm — nothing but a poor man’s cat 1.
  3. Looks like the 50's are largely going bye bye after this week. Stable 60s+ from the weekend on. Love it.
  4. Only got to 35 on Capitol Hill at my house. Don't see us freezing again (hopefully) this year.
  5. You’re honestly a sicko if you still want slop at this point.
  6. I live in DC. Where do you live? Buffalo? After March 15 we’re planning trips to the golf course and pool season isn’t far off.
  7. This thing is DOA for the DC folks. Mid-day, nearly mid-March, sun angle at a preposterous level. No chance for flakes.
  8. DC sunsets are 6:04 starting tomorrow. Will be after 7 starting next weekend.
  9. Anyone have analogs for the Mon/Tuesday deal? I saw a few days ago that March 1-3 1980 was showing up. Doesn't really look like that as depicted.
  10. Wait, are people seriously looking at weeklies at this point? We're in the 9th inning.
  11. Just got back from South Carolina. Early trees blooming everywhere down there. Clover starting to pop up. Bushes budding. Spring is encroaching.
  12. Absolute solar vaporizing occurring right now. Like a laser beam from the heavens. Shield your eyes!
  13. Melt has commenced in DC. Streets just wet. Sun angle strong.
  14. You can almost feel the power of the sun when the snow lightens up. Have seen reports of road melting when it tapers off.
  15. Mid-week will be a good indicator of sun angle and how much drip drip we get at 32/33
  16. The CAD is ALWAYS under modeled. Tack on an hour or two to whatever changeover time it shows.
  17. Today is a wonderful SPRING preview! Get out and enjoy it!
  18. I already created this thread. I think you even posted in it.
  19. Sun angle is rising 2 degrees per day now. The vaporizers will be set to immediate-melt soon. We're equivalent of early October sun now.
