Just for fun I looked at the SREF Plumes. Range for my closest spot is 0 to 37.41 with a mean of 15.5. Very SREF.

This made me do a quick Google search to find out the all-time low in Bermuda is 43.6 and there has never been recorded snow.

At this point, for me at any rate, the ensembles, the globals, a knowledge of meteorology, and the wisdom of others who know more than I do. This is all pretty easy for me to say as I have almost always been on the fringe of this with the exception of a few runs which would dump on me.

I am shocked, shocked I tell you to learn that we should not rely on the NAM at 84 hours! Why has this never been brought up before???????

After a 10 minute search through here to figure out the acronym LBSW, I think I understand. For those "in the know" can you confirm that it refers to a storm which has "peaked" to the southwest vs LBNE in which the storm "peaks" to the NE? Thus a LBSW has peaked to the SW and is past its height once it gets here. Thanks in advance
