About an inch here from the steady first part but it looks like the 2nd line is not holding together for here, more south. We'll see

It looks bleak in the Ottawa River valley if that is accurate up there.

Not February but the Grinch storm of 2007 wiped out my 23" pack in Bethlehem in a day. I think it was 12/23 give or take a day.

KLEB (Lebanon NH) went from 54 at 6:22 to 33 at 7:53. Nice. https://www.wrh.noaa.gov/mesowest/timeseries.php?sid=KLEB&wfo=btv&num=72

Just made the drive up 89 to Burlington (BTV). It was 41 as I left my house. 7 miles later I got on the highway in Sharon and it was 34 (where the 45 is shown). 20 miles up the highway it was 23 (where it shows the 52). It was pretty much 52 the whole rest of the way, only took 10 or 15 minutes longer than usual.

Currently 55 in West Lebanon and 28 in Barre. 43 here

We take e34, toss the rest. Clearly e34 is the only one with a clue.

Just a tenth or so after the evening measurement, it tops me off at 14" for the event, 48.4" for the season.

BTV has extended its warning until 7pm https://forecast.weather.gov/showsigwx.php?warnzone=VTZ012&warncounty=VTC027&firewxzone=VTZ012&local_place1=West Norwich VT&product1=Winter+Storm+Warning&lat=43.7543&lon=-72.3728#.Yf10zOrMJPY ...WINTER STORM WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches for a storm total of 9 to 17 inches. * WHERE...Portions of central, northeast, northwest and southern Vermont and northern New York. * WHEN...Until 7 PM EST this evening. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Another round of light to moderate snow will develop this afternoon and will continue into early this evening. Snowfall rates in this next round of snow will range from a half of an inch to an inch per hour and will likely impact the evening commute. Snowfall will taper off quickly after 7 PM.

11.9 inches when I left the house at 10 ish. The radar off to the SW is looking healthy for another slug later. BTV has extended the warnings: .NEAR TERM /THROUGH SATURDAY/... As of 1234 PM EST Friday...Have extended our winter storm warning to continue through 7 PM, including the evening commute. CAMS models are showing reinvigorating shot of snow in the 18-00z timeframe. Have increased snow amounts and pops in that timeframe to account for this. An upper level shortwave moving along the nearly stationary frontal boundary to our southeast is adding enough lift to help reinvigorate the snow this afternoon into the evening.

radar looks good over PA and NY. If that holds together my drive back home could be less than fun.
-
Judiciary closed until noon. They should have done that for all state offices.

I have to do the 84 mile commute to Burlington in a few minutes. We will see if my drive changes which camp I fall in.
